This comment may make people think that I am doubting that EA has these disorders etc, I AM NOT. I am just saying, people of the norm will start believing that they have these disorders when they just think it's "cool." i've already seen some.. The fan-base that is ACTUALLY suffering from these disorders must get rather insulted when they see other fans of the glorious EA pretend, or convince themselves to believe that they have a mental disorder.

@savorthismomentx And... that's her fault? That's sort of a trend that's been going on for some time and would be there with or without her. Be irritated by the people who fake it cause they think it's cool, don't say it's something that bothers you about Autumn. All she's done is drawn inspiration from her experiences.

@savorthismomentx Emilie said that she needed to write music because it's her way of figuring things out And it's not like she's saying that she's happy with it quoted from a interview:

"I prefer to not have it, and then not be artistic, and probably be a lot happier...I’d still trade it in for anything else but, while it’s here, I’m going to use it for all it’s worth so that I’m not a victim of it."

She uses her illness to it's full extent since she has it, but that doesn't mean she wants it.

@savorthismomentx I kinda get your point however I think already a lot of people suffer from a mental disorder who joined her Army, plus I read her book and the asylum is anything but overglamorized. The entire book shows how horrible Manic Depression can be. About overglamorizing suicide/cutting : she justifies her actions in the book and shows. But that doesn't mean she thinks we should all go and cut/kill ourself. But yeah, faking mental disorders = not cool DX

She glamourizes her life in the asylum, and suicide, manic depression, bipolar disorder etc, way too much. To the point where some would let it become a new trend.

@savorthismomentx i don't think she tries to glamorize it. i just think that all of her experiences have been so terrible and depressing that instead of letting it eat her away she tries to turn it into something good and worthwhile. so that she isn't a victim. which i think is very admirable of her to do. but i see what you mean about the trend thing, a lot of fans will fake illness and whatnot just to be like her.
