  • has anybody put a 6bt cummins out of a late model dodge into one?

  • My Dad just bought a 1948 power wagon in pieces. We were going to put it together over the summer but we never got the parts in time. We'll get to it though!

  • if you pause at 0:31... it looks a little intimidating. lol

  • tell you what, them old powerwagons can pull/haul anything, and go anywhere.... but they only have one speed:slow lol..... but sometimes driving in low is kinda fun

  • A beautiful old workhorse sit goin strong, gotta love it!

  • love the cherry bomb exhaust

  • BEA-UTIFUL

  • looks beautiful

  • WOW, that is a really nice Dodge.

  • cool truck !

  • Nothing finer than a PW at work!

Nice Vid of '50 PW Dump,

    John

  • damn thats a nice truck, i dont think I'd trust that old bridge though.

  • aye, that bridge is scary

  • true, but remember, its a PW, mso if the bridge falls itll live and get back out no problem

  • Love Dodge's, my 90 ram has gears that low too. In fact, I can get out and walk faster than it can creep. With the throttle body it just keeps on running and running. There never was a better built 4x4. I don't really like the new rams though.

  • sweet, billy

  • Ummmm...to each his own, but not everyone like sthe same thing. The only way a vehicle is ruined is when it is not taken care of, not because someone had an engine preference. How old are you again?

  • Diesel Truckin- read my above response-

i know to-each his own -but good rare tin

is getting harder to find-and why ruin a good thing- ill be four-wheeling this week-end

    in my 1955 chevrolet -with a 292-55-GMC-6-cyl

This old school performance- is great for

the normal crowd-to see what old school 4x4

    is like--!

  • Hey, love the PW, but PLEASE grind the valves so it stops putting in the exhaust. Do it before you crack the block because you let it overheat the exhaust valve seat too much. I can tell by the sound it leaks a bit. Not real bad yet, but it's moving that way.

  • Thats badass! Thats called stump pullin' gears!!

  • workin with old pick ups and trucks... I would absolutely love to do it

  • sweet truck....working like they were built to work. I will admit though, I got a little nervous watching it go over that bridge!! Keep on truckin buddy!!!!

  • my friend has 1954 Dodge Power Wagon same one and he is restoring it. Its all military looking when he gets it all fixed up I am putting it on Webshots I just love them trucks they are man tuff is that a 230 cubic inch six in that?

  • throw a 1999 12 valve cummins in it and throw a 5 inch stack

  • i hope that you don't mean a 1999 dodge 12 valve, seeing as how they didn't put 12 valves in rams that year; they used 24 valve ISB's

  • Thats what I call a granny gear

  • NICE!!!

  • Oh sorry the page is uglytruckling doc com

  • Amazing man, still have the stock brake system? or you install in it a disk brake system? I have an M37 power wagon.

  • Stock brakes, discs would be real nice!

  • There was some who sell the brake disc kit conversion for about $500 USD, I think the page was uglytrucking doc com, stock brakes are scary lol! i dont know how are you doing to brake with suck a heavy truck and loaded, with the stock breaking system. But nice PW you have there.

  • @jodase01 found one on craigslist :) (m37)

  • sweet, is that an original dump bed???

  • No, it was installed by the original owner in the early 50's.

  • thats a really neat setup, it looks good too

  • @rbluff if its that long ago you might as well consider it original dodge was still making these body styles nice truck dude
