I can't see how the US would allow hyper inflation to happen for an extended period of time. It would seem that when the dollar falls there will be another currency to replace it, and the money system will start over. Will it be another Fiat currency or a Metals standard? I realize that having Gold or Silver is better than not having it, but who is to say that Silver will be 5 or 10K, perhaps it will be $50.00 when the new money arrives. Who places the value on it?

Bank of America website was MOST LIKELY down due to hackers. Even though B of A doesn't admit to it, I am almost certain this is why it was down. Firstly many "Hacktivists" have already declared some type of war on bankers as well as other industries. I can't see how the US would allow hyper inflation to happen for an extended period of time. It would seem that when the dollar falls there will be another currency to replace it, and the money system will start over. Will it be another Fiat currency or a Metals standard? I realize that having Gold or Silver is better than not having it, but who is to say that Silver will be 5 or 10K, perhaps it will be $50.00 when the new money arrives. Who places the value on it?
