AFAIK this camcorder has only 12x zoom, therefore it would not be possible, to get the moon that close.
Additional optics ? Different camcorder ?

12 x optical zoom, and goes digital zoom. Not what dopol′nitel′noj Optics is not used.

Оптика отличная, хроматизма не видно. А до какого размера идёт чисто оптический зум?
