  • The chords too?

  • oh god my friend sent me this theme song, and we are supposed to do a cover of this. Can someone point out the time signature?

  • Love Mishima... Unique witter!

  • I can't figure out the time signature for this...

  • @bluelektric Time signatures are fairly arbitrary at times as composers deliberately place accents on not primary beats. But I'm pretty sure most of this is in 4/4

  • @bluelektric intro at least is 4/4, i think most of what follows is as well

  • @bluelektric I would say that that everyone is wrong, but it's just my opinion. Glass's works are full with time shifting, it's almost imposible to say in what time this is written. Something might sound as if it is in 6/8, but in fact it's a 3/4. Take a look at his quartets, they are full with this kind of things.

  • Yay no dislikes! Hopefully no troll will find this song...

  • @mmmmmmmmm2222222222 darn you jinxed it, there is one now.

  • one of the weirdest movies i've seen, but also one of the best. I think the music really made these scenes too.

  • @cmonutube You Obviously have not seen "House". The Movie not the show. ;)

  • @Khalsabychoice you're right I haven't. read the summary on imdb. sounds like a weird horror movie. most usually are haha

  • Tf any guitarist out there could send me some tab or even better make a instruction vid of the guitar part in this song I would be so grateful. Even just how to play the opening chords and the basic pick melody.

    Thanks.

  • @HansHellman Agreed; if anyone has or ends up sending you a tab or the chords please send my way, this album has been one of the most beautiful in my life for quite some time.

  • @mattbrandwich Will do Matt.

yeah I know what your saying, the combination of genres makes for such a unique sound and emotion.

  • i wish phil would do an album of stuff like this.

  • While the Opening and Closing of the Mishima sound track are big crowd pleasers, I've found this track to become my favorite of the ST. The mixture of guitar and violin (also found on "Kyoko yoshiya's house") is extremely beautiful. That along with the drums in this and the harp in the latter are truly amazing.

    Thanks for posting.
