for the price of the sx30 you can do a lot with it, the down side of it is that you can't attach lenses to it but it's a good beginner camera (you can attach filters, i'd recommend a polarising filter). I'm currently saving up to buy a DSLR. One suggestion I could make is if you think your gonna get into photography then consider spending the extra money upfront for a DSLR. Thanks for commenting

hanx for the vedio ,,, and it really made be buy this cam today after i saw it almost 10 times ..
as i told u i bought it today..and just can figure how to use manual focus on near by objects.. do i have to use any Picturing mood like the "p" ?
or is there any thing else ??
coz seriously i just cant even focus on my keyboard
