Very good video.I am a member of the 218th BCT and I was in Afghanistan.I saw ALOT of faces in this video of people I served with over there. Thanks for all the support and it is GREAT TO BE BACK HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As the daughter of a Marine, I am quite aware of Parris Island. This video montage is dedicated to the soldiers of South Carolina--some of whom hail from Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Hilton Head Island, etc.
I believe those qualify as "islands in the Carolina sand".
On 26 Dec 2007, Mr. Corrado was interviewed for a CNN iReport. During this interview he states that "On My Watch Tonight" is dedicated to Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, & Airmen.
omg. I´m from Sweden and I hardly don´t know the meaning of war, but when I see this it almost makes me cry. I´m truly amazed of your love to your soldiers and the soldiers love to their beloved ones. Was convinced I love America and americans, now I know for sure. See you in April!
I remember the day the second wave shipped... It snowed and sleeted. I have a lot of good friends over there. God protect them, and thank your very much for this video.
This really touched my heart. Even though I speak to my husband every night via the internet, seeing this video makes him seem close. I did not see him in any of the pics, but I know he was there. We were all there in Gvl, and in MS when these soldiers left. We should all be count our blessings to have these soldiers defending us. I can't wait until its all over. Thank you for the video.
