i did the exact same thing, only in hydrocity zone,using an open/close door.also,in launch base zone act 2,i debugged my way to near the end and made tails fall into an endless loop.for some reason,i got a 1-up while tails looped in front of knuckles.

I hope you don't mind my asking, but that wasn't Sonic 3 & Knuckles was it? Because I've noticed at the end in the Launch Base Zone the screen goes black as if you were proceeding to the next zone. Awesome use of the debug trick dude, I laughed so hard! XD!

First off, it's not that hard to use the Sonic 3 game screen and modify it a little. Second, if you beat Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Sonic does a little pose at the end indicating your completion of the game instead of going straight down and showing the screen fading to black. Third, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and S3&K have the same levels all the same except

S3&K is the complete version.

Well, I just checked and realized something. He put the Tails Abuse Debug 2 on the same place he put Tails Abuse Debug 3 in the next video, but on the next vid, it says "And Knuckles" above the TA3, and this doesn't have it. So I'm theorizing that He used Sonic 3 in this video and used Sonic 3 and Knuckles for the last portion of this vid, then procceeded to the next. But it doesn't matter if this is Sonic 3 or S3&K or not. Sorry for the argument. XD

How do you debug sonic 3?

there is one way.

1. start with the Sonic 2 game

2. Enter the level select code ( 19, 65, 09, 17)

3. carefully remove the sonic 2 cartridge without turning off the the console (hold the A button while doing this) and put sonic 3 in.

4. hit reset and if it is done correctly hit down twice on the main menu and then press a and start on the level you want to start on.
