  • Nice! Thank you for posting the video.

  • great job brother

  • Dear venerable Sir , I'm so happy for this response that offers better qualification of Buddha ( Six ultra-conscious insight ).In other way , if Buddha can cover all=100/100 natural and spiritual , the others are found only to 0/100 . It's the same as the world ranking or people , I think .

May peace upon to you ! nutier

  • Dhamma Brother nutier, When I read your response to my answer I start to confuse now. I don't know for sure what you meant to ask me about. As I understand your message, you may mean that if the Buddha's knowledge can cover 100/100 natural and spiritual other religious leaders have nothing to cover it, right? comparing the world ranking other religion will have no the followers, you may meant this way I think.

  • If you mean this way, must be opposite with my answer. I was talking about the knowledge of the Buddha and want to tell you that, the knowledge of the Buddha can know all about the nature and the spiritual. It didn't mean when the Buddha know all things, the others have nothing to know.

  • Example, there are 15 students in the class. One student get 1oo point, do you think the teacher don't have more point for other students, Dhamma Brother? :) Because teacher gave 100 points to one student already, so the teacher may not have other point for other student.

  • On the other way, If one student good at any course in the school, other student may not have that course for study no more. You concern about the world ranking that's true that Buddhism is not number one in the world when if think about the quantity of the followers. If we think about the quality of advice about the reason and the result. Let we learn and think more.

  • I can't say the Buddha's teaching is number one because I am a Buddhist if I say that, people will think I take side at Buddhism because I am already a Buddhist. So we have to study more together and think about that to find the reality by ourselves. I am sorry if I make any confuse again, Dhamma Brother! Love and peace to you!

  • @Khmerbuddhist Well, I can say for certain that Buddhism is No. 1 in my book and belief, and I am definitely a Buddhist in this lifetime and the next re-incarnation periods to come.

  • Dear venerable Sir , I'm so glad with all of your answers that I asked you . I haven't found any book writen about Einstein who has been studying about metaphysical of Buddha , I have found only his physical books on web sites .

May peace and happiness be with you !

  • That's ok, Dhamma Brother! :)I have never found too. What I said just my idea, you no need to believe. I just wanted to said that the scientist if he want to study about Buddhism he can understand faster than normal people because the Buddha's teaching are similar to the science theory too.

  • the world does not need light it needs to find its own light agaain the light is there already there is no need to look the light is within all of us we just need to BE

  • Very great idea, that's right Avelkitesva!

Thank you very much for your sharing the words of wisdom!

  • (reply to nutier)

albert eistein: "buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal god, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural and the spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity."

present neuroscientists: they're studyin' & confirmin' the benefits of buddhist meditation 4 the overall health of the human being.

  • Thank you for your advice ; in fact , Einstein is physician , he was found the principle of relativity of gravitation , monotomic gas , electromagnetism etc. He hadn't known about metaphysical of Buddha ( Aphidhamma ). Buddha also , he was a philospher of mind and soul formation , He hadn't known how is the formation of our solar system etc. Then , Buddha hadn't covered all natural or all spiritial as Einstein's thaugh because of (attahe attano nadho )of Buddha's lyric etc.nutier

  • No, not like that, Dhamma Brother nutier. Einstein is physician and when he study about the metaphysical of the Buddha (Abhidhamma) He got understanding so faster than the normal people. After he Learn about the Abhidhamma and he compare with what he knows about Physician and he wrote the quote as above. so it doesn't mean he didn't know the Abhidhamma.

  • The Buddha is the Enlightened One, in the name of Awakened One he knows all things in the world even in the past, present and the future. So the Buddha's knowledge can covered all the natural and spiritual. But the Buddha teach only what can bring people to the the happiness and the highest goal is Nirvana.

  • Dear venerable Sir , do you want to say that the Buddha's knowledge can cover 100/100 the natural and spiritual ?

May peace and happiness be with you always !

    nutier

  • Dear Dhamma Brother nutier

Dhamma Brother nutire,I may not say the Buddha's knowledge can cover100/100 the natural and spiritual. I want to share about some of His knowledges and we can think about that together if the Buddha's knowledge can cover those conditions 100 percent or not.

  • This is the six ultra-conscious insight or six supper knowledge:

    1- Magical powers

    2- Divine ears

3- Penetration of the minds of others/telepathy

    4- Remembrance of former existences/retrocognition

    5- Divine eyes

6- Knowledge of exhaustion of all mental intoxicant

This is some of the Buddha's and His disciple knowledge. I am not sure if these knowledge can cover 100/100 the natural and spiral or not.

  • Dear venerable Sir , I'm so glad to hear from you , the six ultra-conscious insight of Buddha . I think that buddhat had a highest subconscious-mind to attain his Nirvana . This is not counted in my questions , it's only a simply idea ;

may peace and happiness be with you !

    nutier

  • But if he couldn't cover them, how can he attain Nirvana, because nirvana is the thins beyond all these conditions. May peace and happiness, love and smile be with you always!

  • Once, the Buddha told his disciple to pick the leaves from the tree and he asked"Between the leaves in your palm and the leaves in the forest which one is the most leaves? " Disciple answered"The leaves in the forest are the most. The Buddha said "What I know are like the leaves in the forest, but what I bring to teach all beings are like the leaves in your palm" this means the Buddha brought only the important thing to teach but what he didn't teach it doesn't mean he didn't know.

  • The Buddha's lyric "attahe attano nadho"is the true teaching of the Buddha and this help so much for one who practice this teaching. He didn't mean telling followers not to rely on other but he meant the first thing you should do is you take yourself as refuge or rely on yourself. If you don't rely on yourself no one can help you. No any power in the world can help you. Even we using internet, we rely on ourself to use it to recognize how to use it........

  • The teachers or others can only show you to way how to use but you have to remember and to train using it by yourself. Also the Buddha can only show you the right path to walk but you will rely on yourself to walk or not is according to you. If you don't follow the attahe attano nadho, you can't walk through the path that the Buddha showed. This is not my answer it just my suggestion from what I understand, there are many interpreting from many idea of people.

  • I am sorry for delaying so long time to response to you, Dhamma Brother nutier. I hope you are well and wishing you good health, prosperity, peace and happiness! Even though I always take long time to response to you but I am always happy to read your comment and the questions. As I said any people can help answering to your question because we are learning, we are students and we are trying to walk toward the light!

  • Thank you so much Pkving for your good thought and wisdoms sharing us. May peace and happiness be with you!

  • (reply 2 Khmerbuddhist)

    you're welcome.

  • Q.14 - You wrote that ( this is because the power of kamma of revenge cause them to meet Ahimsa and was killed . )

I would like to ask you that, does the kamma come from the desire ?

May peace and happiness be with you !

    nutier

  • Dhamma Brother nutier! I think it's too late to answer your question because you got answer from Dhamma Sister reksmay already and I appreciated with her kind helping us about this. I just shorten to answer your question that all Karmas are from the desire. If all beings no desire they will not commit any karma.

  • Not even Buddha, Himself. Everyone is accounted for His own karma. No one could erase nor absolve anyone's karma, but him/herself. Buddha had found the Way and He has shown the Path. Anguilimala is a studious student who excelled in Buddha's Path because he devoted his attentions to them completely and with the help from previous stores of deeds. Thank you for reading this far. Thank you, Venerable Sir, for posting this beautiful and profound song! :D

  • I'm so glad to hear from you . Please excuse me for my lately replying because I work everyday except the week-end . I want ask you some questions about Angulimala to widen my knoledge .

Q.15-Do the word karma (in reksmay paragraph)and the word kamma (in Khmerbuddhist's )are the same meaning ?

May peace and happiness be with you!

    nutier

  • Dear Dhamma Sister reksmay! Thank you very much, Dhamma sister for your kind helping answer to all question. This is showing the great compassion from your heart to everyone who want to know learn and to find the right path walking to the goal of sincere and happiness! Please keep up your kind work to help this world to be better! I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  • and must await another lifetime to attain his Arahatship. But, because his merits are so great from previous births, all his body parts and flesh and blood pooled together to produce an image of him again, free from any karma that would come to haunt him. That is the end of the story. Sorry to diverge. But, I just want to highlight the idea that if one kills, one must be absolutely sure that one has tremendous stores of merits to buffer because no one could be safe from his/her bad karma. Not..

  • he committed and this is the final life to do so as it is obvious that he could not escape the robbers, despite his power. He pretended to slow down while the robber was chasing him and sat still. The robber, as expected, smashed Mongoliana to bits and pieces, and even making sure that Mongoliana was completely a puddle of flesh and blood, so bad was the thief's hatred for any monks, before he left. Finally, when the thief was gone, technically Mongoliana should be dead and ...

  • On his 499th birth, he was the Arahat because he met Buddha and became His deciple. In fact, He was one of Buddha's chief deciple. One day, he was meditating. A band of robbers saw him and was furious and insist on killing him to appease his nerves. The robber was chasing Mongoliana adamantly. Mongoliana, using his power escaped the robber. Where ever Mongoliana escaped to, that same robber would find him. Finally, Mongoliana made a prediction with his hands and found that he must repay a debt..

  • mother would give peace to his family/wife. So, he disguised himself as a robber to kill his mother, who was blind due to old age. He spent practically eons in hell and animal births only to come back as human again. And, in all those human existence, he always did good. Further punishments entail that for 500 lifetimes, at the same age he killed his mother, he will be killed exactly the same way he killed his mother once upon a lifetime ago. For 500 lifetimes, he was always killed by a thief...

  • Three times, Buddha tried to go collect alms from His Father-in-law's house and 3x He got blocked by His resentful Father-in-law. Seven days later, His Father-in-law got swallowed by Mother Earth. Sorry to diverge. As for killing mother/parents, take for example the story of Mongoliana. Mongoliana in all His births always dedicated them to virtuous deeds, except one birth. He trusted his wife who did not want to take care of his elder mother, and nagged and nagged at him. He thought killing his

  • as the 1000th person required, he will see the deepest hell one will have a hard time imagining. If Buddha had visited Anguilimala for 3x and Anguilimala did not listen, it means Anguilimala is too deep in bad karma to listen to Buddha's words. Even Buddha cannot save that person when He'd been shunned for 3x. Take for example, Buddha's Father-in-law.

  • When one has acrued so much merits, in the last life if one has met the Buddha and not ordained as a Bikkhu or Bikkhuni, he/she will be just a Sotapanna (7-births remaining). If he/she is ordained as a monk/nun and has met the Buddha, then he/she is qualified to be an Arahat. Hence, Anguilimala had attained Arahatship when he became Buddha's deciple whereby he practiced with great diligence Buddha's Doctrines. On the contrary, if Anguilimala had not listened to Buddha and killed his mother...

  • Anguilamala has less karma by killing is because he has no ill intention. However, he still committed killing, which is an unescapable fact. So, while striving to practice the Universal Teacher's Path, he was able to attain Arahatship because Anguilimala is a maleable person whereby when he believes, he believes 100%. In addition, his past deeds helped propelled him so quickly. It is said that when one has attained Sotapannaship and when one is a Bikkhu and met the Buddha in person in last...

  • When his action was intercepted by the Universal Teacher, now he knows that killing is bad. If he persist and ignore this Universal's warning, he may be in hell instead of working hard to attain Arahatship. In my opinion, although it is not mentioned in the Buddhist text, the bad karma will fall on his original, jeolous teacher who told Anguilimala to kill in the first place. Arahatship is not so easy to attain. Since Anguilmala has no ill intention of killing, he has less karma....

  • In my opinion, the reason why Anguilamala could attain Arahatship is due to His kamma without intention. As we know already, actions with intentions bring about volition of karma, whether bad or good. Anguilimala was a studious student who was trusting. When his teacher, who was jeolous of him, told him to kill so that he may attain Arahatship, he believed his teacher 100%. He killed not knowing that killing is bad. He killed without any malice. When his action was intercepted by the...

  • Dear Venerable Sir! Thank you for this wonderful song! Anguilimala is one of my favorites Buddhist story. I tried to learn as much as possible pertaining to this story. I read his story in Buddhist literature (forgot website), but I there are still unanswered questions. For example, how could he attain Arahatship after killing so many people? I have read and asked so many sources. I am so pleased to have come across your answers. They help shed some lights into my understandings. I will post mor

  • This is wonderful song and beautiful meaning.

That is why I would like to ask you more than this for the second time . I am Buddhist like you , seeing our religion existed since 2551 years , which is not named in the world rankings . That is why I would like to ask you more than this for the third time .

i would like to read this and saw you mention the source. the moral of the story is very good, do for yourself not others do for you

to correct your mistakes, to stop makeing them

Good wisdom Dhamma Brother! Peace and Joy!

  • I am glad to hear you get much understanding from this song, Dhamma Brother! We still keep learnig more together! We are all learning all life. If we still in the round of rebirth our learning is endless!

  • Dear Venerable Sir, Just now make it to this

very good story of wisdom and Sin Sisamuth

Very Good singer, Nice artwork also. The story

Says much Dhamma Brother, thankyou for shareing this wisdom of 4 wrong course to take

    Nicely done!

  • You are welcome, Dhamma Brother mark.

I am glad you enjoy this wisdom from the Angulimala song. Yes, Everything is useful for us if we use it in the good way, Dhamma Brother!

Do you have some read about Angulimala story, Dhamma Brother? I hope you did, ha! Thank you and may peace and happiness be with you!

  • Q12- The buddha had his " divine eye " , I would like to ask you that why he couldn't preached Angulimala before this one began to kill the poor people ?

Peace and happiness to you !

    nutier

  • Thank you, Dhamma Brother! Yes, the Buddha had His dive eyes and thought. He can see the situation in the past, in the present and in the future. In this case It's not mean the Buddha didn't know about that but He knew it's not the time for him to help, so he couldn't help those people because those people will get their result of Kamma in this lives. No power is stronger than power of Kamma, even the Buddha, He can't stop those power of Kamma too.

  • He knew clearly, he couldn't stop Ahimsa before he killed those people, so He didn't waste His time to stop him. This case was not happened with only Ahimsa, even the people in His Royal family killing each other, the Buddha went to stop them only three times but they still continue their purpose to kill each other, so He know this is their former Kamma that ones have to be killed by ones and he can't stop them.

  • The Buddha can't help anyone, unless ones help oneselves. Buddha show the good path for the people, and the people themselves have to walk through the path He show to reach their Highest goal. Most people always confused asking the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha for help but they themselves still do the bad deed, not help themselves to be away from the bad deed, this is not right way and not the Buddha's teaching.

  • Happiness starts from one who practice in the right way according to His teaching, Happiness is not coming from asking for and the asker doesn't start doing by himself. Thank you again, Dhamma Brother, nutier. If you have something more to ask, please leave your more question here and only me who answer to your question, if anyone want to share his or her knowledge they can answer to your question and their answer will be appreciated. May peace and happiness be with you always!

  • Q11 - I would like to know that why the killer of 999 other people will not happen to the hell unless he killed his own mother ?

May peace and happiness be with you !

    nutier

  • According to the Buddha's advice, whoever killed whoever, that one will be born in the hell or in the animal realm. That's very good question you asked, Dhamma Brother nutier. In this story, Angulimala killed 999 people but he didn't go to hell but he attained Aharantship, it's very strange about this.

  • This case was because Angulimala have made his good deed as the perfection in the previous life and this life is the last life for him to be born. His Perfection brought him to be born in the Buddha's time and the Buddha can help him in time. If he was not born in the Buddha's time, even he was born in the Buddha's time, if he didn't attain the Arahantship he will be sure going to the hell after the death, no need to kill his mother, just 999 people was very enough to go to hell.

  • On the other hand, those 999 people had the revenge with him in the former life, that's why they were killed by him. This is because the power of Kamma of revenge cause them to meet Ahimsa and was killed. His mother didn't have the revenge with him in any life, that's why she was not killed and the Buddha can come to help in time. I hope you enjoy with this answer, Dhamma Brother nutier. Thank you so much for helping me to do some research, it's very good way to improve our knowledge.

  • Q13 - You wrote that ( On the other hand , those 999 people had the revenge with him in the former life , that's why they were killed by him .) I would like to ask you that the World trad center's attack in New York , the killing field of Khmer rouge etc. were caused by the same circumstance of this murderer too ?

May peace and happiness be with you !

    nutier

  • Q10 - Dear Venerable Sir , I don't know why the famous teacher couldn't control his pupils , and had hunted out the adorable Ahimsaka to commit a murderer ?

May peace and happiness be with you !

    nutier

  • This issue always happen in this world with the worldly people, means the people who still have greed, delusion and ignorance, as well as you and me, nutier. This Great Teacher, even he was famous but he still had the Four Wrong Course of prejudice:

  • Those Four Wrong Course of Prejudice are:

1-Prejudice caused by love or desire

2-Prejudice caused by hatred or enmity

3-Prejudice caused by delusion or dtupidity

    4-Prejudice caused by fear.

  • The Prejudice of this Great teacher caused by fear because he knew clearly that Ahimsa was a most clever student and he can learn everything from him, sooner or later Ahimsa will be a most powerful one that even teacher himself can't be compare with Ahimsa. So he has to find the way to hunt Ahimsa out by using the bad trick.

  • He was thinking that when Ahimsa kill people, all people will hate him and will kill him. So he no need to kill his student by his hand.

I hope you are enjoy with the answer and continue searching, Dhamma Brother nutier! We learn together. May peace and happiness be with you!

  • Correction: "dtupidity" to " stupidity "

  • Q9 - Of having read the Angulimala story , my first impression is ( the robber-constellation ) appearing in the sky on the timing of the Angulimala's birth . I would like to ask you that how this robber-constellation could influence to this child ?

Is it a message of angel or gardian God , or simply a Natural phenomenon of the universe ?

Peace and happiness to you !

    nutier

  • Sorry for delaying to answer, nutier. There are many sacred things in this world that we do not know and we can't tell. So, I cannot deny or say it's a message of angel or guardian God. According to the Scripture of the Buddhism, it is said about the former Kamma of Ahimsa or Angulimala that many people killed him when he was born as a big tortoise in the sea.

  • That Previous bad deed they mad to him causes him in the last life to become a Killer and kill all those people who were born in the same time at that time. So, the robber-constellation may be just a sign of any sacred power of Kamma to tell that it will have something unusual happen with Ahimsa. This is my idea. If anyone have any other idea, please share, we can learn together.

  • Yes , I would like to say you that's ( Angulimala = A Murderer's Road to Sainthood ) written by Hellmuth Hecker .

I will read it next time after my business work , thank you .

peace and happiness to you !

    nutier

  • You are welcome, nutier! I am glad you can find it. :) Oh, please be patient, I will answer your other question later!

    Love and Compassion
