the simplest least rude way i can describe what this guy was probably thinking when he wrote this: "wait a minute! if i jack off in a pot Roast, and feed it to my guests for dinner, they'll think that there's something seriously wrong with me ! But if i do it really quickly.... They'll have to see me as a genius!!!!"
you people cant keep hiding behind learn how to play it.
this is dreadful. the blending and contrasting stylistic features of this peace fail big time. its like someone without a drop of expressive talent goes out and tries to convince everyone otherwise by doing the complete opposite. Fuck heaps of people like mathematical based music! but thats why they go and listen to bands like, KingCrimson, Gentle giant, Animals as leaders, tool.
i suggest you take the time to learn it. this is a very well thought out, and very out of the box, beautiful song. very classical influenced, and if you learned how to play it then you would know what im talking about.
@funnyguy1321 I agree with you on some level, and disagree with you on others. I respect your opinion but cannot embrace it entirely. I think there are different types of feel. The feel I usually put highest is the ability to feel in control of ones instrument, to be at one with it, to make it say whatever you wish it to say. That to me is feel. Then there is the ability to play directly from ones heart and.or soul. Which is another type of feel in my opinion. Either way, music is what it is.
Why do all metal guitar players have the exact same tone? And why do they think it sounds good? Every metal solo ever played is a rip off of some 8-bit Mega Man soundtrack.
@alfarelife if you were a musician you could tell hes had obvious training in blues, jazz, classical, folk, and rock. he just prefers to play fast more than other stuff i presume, that is infact how he got known... speed? record
I started playing at 14, never had the dedication that this young man has. You play better than I ever could have even if I stuck with it. This old man bows at your feet.
You know, he didnt learn how to play this good by just grabbing a guitar and playing. He did it through 16 hours a day of doing nothing playing guitar. Go find a hobby, practice until like this guy did and ANYONE can easily accomplish this sort of feat. :) Not saying it is easy, it requires great dicipline. So if you happen to watch this don't let it put you down or let it make you think you can't do it. You can no matter what anyone else will say.
I completely disagree. One _cannot_ become _this_ good simply by practising many hours a day. Practice is a necessary, but _not_ a sufficient condition. Practice can make a player competent, but beyond mere competence lies a realm of virtuosity into which one must be born. Natural talent is a desideratum for _this_ level of proficiency.
You can kid yourself if you like by thinking otherwise.
actually he's one of the fastest guitar player or maybe the fastest amongst all.
ofcourse there's YJM, MAB, PG, JP and so on, but when i saw his attempt on the guiness world records...that was insane 300 plus bpm...correct me if i'm wrong but if you can find a guitar player that can play 300+ bpm then i'll rest my case. i'm not in favor of any guitar player but i'm just telling the fact that this dude is FAST
@alpha5romeo Ok, it all makes sense now. Yeah you're right about all of them. But why does Yngwie have the "J" in the middle? That doesn't seem to make much sense.
he actually broke his record and did 370 bpm in tokyo. della vega has the record for bpm, but shawn lane has the record for nps i think. btw the video from that maytons video lies, he's not really hitting 28nps, i slowed it down and checked.
i find it funny how when i saw him play for the record books, i thought he was some br00tal death metal guitarist because of his image (and he probably is because of those emg pickups), but then listening to his actual music he actually makes some of the most chill music ive ever heard XD
Equally impressive to the speed is the composition. It is the first music that I've heard that has the flavor of Mike Oldfield but with a fresh twist (around 1'45"). Today is the first time I heard of your music and I greatly look forward to hearing more!

Very fast and precise playing, that doesn't come without years of work.
I tend to see music as an art of interaction rather than mere sport. I find this to be the latter.
I dont participate this sport-music thing, it can be much more than that.
