All of the commercials featured them, the highlights featured them, and the hype was all about them to where it generated money for Miami and the NBA. So yes, the 2006 Finals in my opinion was rigged for Miami.

Lmao @ everyone that said it was rigged. Did the refs make Dallas choke a double digit lead with just 6 minutes left in game 3? Did the refs make Nowitzski choke from the line? Did D-Wade not step up and make clutch shot after clutch shot? He was getting to the line because he was attacking the basket like crazy. Dirk could've did the same if he played aggressively and played down lowe instead of settling for long jumpers.

dude you know it was rigged. the games were being reffed fairly in dallas. free throws were about even. they went to miami and wade was getting all those touch fouls. its bullshit. dallas was attacking the paint if you watched the finals in miami and could not get touch fouls like wade did. expecially that bull shit touch foul which they called on dirk and he didn't even touch him. they called it after his little fake ass fell to the ground.

It was rigged, david stern had a problem with Cuban and fixed the finals for the heat. You watch the fianls again and tell me how many phantom calls you can find, there were tons.

i think if it'd be rigged (ant it wasn't), it'd be rigged for dallas, the idea of rigging finals is create a dinasty, you tell me which team looked the most like a dinasty...60-22 dallas or 52-30 miami...BTW dallas did atacked the paint...but they did it with nowitzky's low-post game.. would you foul 90% free-throw shooter on the low-post with Zo in the paint???.no!!.you'd foul a 78% FTS when his head is above the rim after a penetration!!...if you don't your coach would sit you on the bench...

D-Wade had the greatest performance in NBA Finals history hands down! All of Mike performances were great but Mike never was DOWN 0-2 in the Finals before. The siuation, & the way D-Wade responded to it is what makes his performance legendary.
