You only hear strumming if your recording it with a Video Camera.
He obviously recorded it with a Video Capture Card which means you plug it into your TV and it records the sound from the TV as if your recording a program on TV onto a Video.

lol that's not really saying much, but thanks. I would at least say the BaTM solo is in the top 5 and Verse 3D on Institutionalized is in the top 10. The other ones aren't that tough with a little bit of practice though.
Well, I use my last 3 fingers (middle, ring, pinky) for the first zigzags and keep that position until the first red note. Then I slide my index up to the yellow and use my first three fingers on that section until the long orange note. Then I flip my hand over the guitar, put my pinky on green and use my other fingers to hit the other notes. That's about all I can say.
Epic....... but be honest though. how long did that take to make

I managed to get the BatM solo a couple of days ago. I was really pleased.
I still haven't managed to get Verse 3D down, though. Any tips?

I just FC'd Bark at the Moon solo 1c! I'm so happy! Its probably the hardest solo I've ever FC'd, but i got it in a couple tries today :)
