  • You don't look like a tattoo kinda guy, but it's cool tho' :))

  • @fd9w4dncm I'm the odd one out in my family, I only have one.

  • That is an amazing tattoo you have there! I love the design! I also agree that tattoos should have a personal meaning. After all, it'll be one your skin forever. =D

  • I like it, and the reasoning behind it. I'm planning on getting one with my mum. I'm not quite finished the design, but what I've got so far I'm pleased with. You sound like a very introspective, interesting person. Despite what some may say, you probably already know you don't have to be a socialite to be successful in life. And I agree about heaven. It would be rather dull after awhile, the eternal bliss and such.

  • My sisters are getting tattoos that are reminders of certain people in some way.

Like one sister got a harmonica in memory of my father and the other sister got the Autobot and Decepticon logos half in half as a reminder of me.

That means I have to get something now.

  • nice ink

  • Thank you.

  • Basically the Crow is coming in to attack.

Its talons and beak extend toward my chest.

And it's body and wing extend up to my shoulder and around my arm.

  • That sounds pretty cool.

  • Nice Tattoo.

    Not something I'd get.

I've never been a fan for design tattoos.

I usually get a symbol or a saying.

But I do have a crow the runs over my right shoulder, and it's wing curves back around my arm.

It's a homage to the death of Cúchulainn.

  • To each their own.

I'm trying to picture that crow but I don't think I'm seeing it right.

It sounds interesting , I'd like to know more.

  • I have (had?) an ex-girlfriend who sported a porpoise on her shoulder blade... though she always insisted it was a "bottle nosed dolphin" (note 'ex').

  • There are similarities between porpoises and dolphins but they are different enough to tell them apart granted you may need to know what a porpoise is to do that.

My youngest sister is getting one of her tattoos filled in sometime this week.

I've been told what she's doing but I'd have to see it before I could say whether it will be good or not.

  • its better than some hideously obese girl with FINE tattooed on her lower back.lol

    cool tattoo though

  • As in she should be fined?

Rose- ahaha...I remember this one time at a tattoo parlour

Rose- and this girl wanted a tattoo on her lower back

Rose- and she told the artist "yeah, I want something symbolic"

Rose- so I wrote "Exit only" in chinese

  • lol

  • very beautiful tattoo! I like your reason behind adding the Yin Yang symbol. Heaven would be a grand place, but as you said it would get boring. I wonder if you need to sleep? I plan on getting one, but I'm not sure of what yet. Something like a tattoo takes lots of thinking.

  • You're right it does.

If you want it to mean something, if you want it to draw attention...

There was a couple that had 2 young daughters die so they went to a tattoo artist about getting memorial tattoos, they had plans for these big elaborate designs.

He told them smaller designs would be better as people would spot the bigger ones and keep asking them about it so they would find it very difficult getting over their deaths that way.

The smaller ones are still a reminder but are more personal.

  • very nice... it must have hurt like a bitch.. and thats the reason i dont have one.. but it would look good joined in the middle on your forearm.

  • Where the bulk of it is is hard skin, so it didn't really hurt.

The tattoo to fill it in in the middle, that would hurt as the skin there is softer.

Part of this design is on soft skin, that hurt.

  • Cool design--I'm partial to the solid black patterns myself. Interesting commentary on balance as well. Would a mirror-duplicate on the other arm fit with your philosophy of balance? (two of the same vs. two equal opposites that set off each other) Just wondered.

  • Good question, two of the same and equal opposites, they both are balanced in my eyes, in different ways though.

Mirror images, however, just happen to satisfy my craving for symmetry at the same time.

  • Your beard looks reddish. I like that.

  • Other people point that out, they're not as kind about it as you are.

  • So it's true? Wasn't sure, could have been the light or something.

Anyway, I like it, no matter what other people say.

  • Thank you.

  • There's no chance you might be not heterosexual? :D

  • Not that I'm aware of.

  • Cruel world...

  • Very.

  • Are you in some kind of relationship?

  • Nope.

  • How comes?

  • Too much effort, plus I'm not really a people person.

  • Oh, you seem so, a little, on second thought (not a people person).

That is quite ... sad. A young, pretty boy with a sexy voice and a beard, plus I like the way you look with the glasses.

You seem so real, so close, and yet too far away.

  • Meh, what can you do?

Life isn't always pleasant or fair, we learn this the hard way.

  • Sometimes it is though, and these are the moments worth living for ¦:)

  • True, true.

  • I thought about getting a tattoo as well, but I'm not sure if it really is what I want,...

You can't undo it later, if you're not satisfied with it anymore,... so it's a thing you should better think about.

  • I was 21 when I got it so I hadn't rushed in to it.

Plus I had time to think about it from the first time I met the artist to when I got it done.

  • Now I ran out of reasons to write you,.. :(

Would like to get to know you better though,... :)

  • I'll be making more videos, never you worry.

  • Ok, after reading many of the comments on your videos I see what you meant about teenage girls and gay men. You poor thing - I'm glad I could be a shift in this for you. Haha ha ha ahha ah

  • Well it does help the old ego.

  • I really like the hand prints on your wall.

  • My sister id that, used to be her room.

  • ...scarred for Life--tsk tsk------You need some LSD therapy lad----Great Vid Thomas--My grandfather was from Poland---he had a huge ST.Stanislaus tat(creepy as fuck) on his back and cyrillic script all over his chest----when I was a little kid......he would never ever let us or anyone see them-----

  • Billy Connolly told a story about a Scotsman who wanted a huge tattoo of a thistle on his back.

He was in China for a football match and he told the Chinese tattoo artists what he wanted but he had to describe the thistle, as a large spikey flower, to him as he had never seen one.

Apparently he now has a large tattoo of a pineapple adorning his back.

  • I seen Billy Connolly in person about 20 years ago when he was doing stand-up-----He's a class act funny guy---one of my favourite comedians...also he comes off as someone that does'nt take any shit !----I bet he'd slap Eddie Izzard around!! hahaha

  • He's brilliant, and the thing is he tells stories, he doesn't really make up jokes.

The stuff he tells you could happen to anybody.

Did you hear the one where he told about the flats he lived in and the doors?

  • Billy Connolly reminds me so much of my uncle Alo---he was a character--he was from Cork and moved to Glasgow..he died about 5 years ago he was 93...he was a hateful fun sonofabitch that til the day he died he believed Hitler had the right idea........I never got his humour as a kid but as I got older I realized what an oddfellow he really was..he moved to Belize in the 70's to retire from the Railroad and recently my cousins tell me I resemble him remarkably..they say he was eccentric! hahahaha

  • I don't think anyone on my mothers side are as colourful as that, and I don't know my dads side all that well as they all live in America.

  • much cooler than the yin and yang tattoo that i have.

  • I have to see it, the idea sounds interesting even if the execution didn't turn out as good.

  • YESSS!!! Hahaha, very nice though.

I am quite satisfied... for now.

  • Good.

  • Yea... sorry i caused you such greif over it. lol.

  • I wasn't doing much, and I wanted to do a video just to keep up with it.

  • nice tattoo.

  • Thank you.

  • i never even noticed you had one, haha, when I saw the vid title I thought you just got one. Looks cool, not really into tribal designs myself, I like colours and symbols of things that I draw my own meanings from. EG: I have one of swords from the games Legend of Zelda which to me represents balance too... basically i wanted a symbol for balance but not the ying-yang, haha

  • I like the flowing lines in tribal designs, but they have to be black.

I've seen multi coloured tribal and it looks terrible.

You have some cool tattoos anyway, from one geek to another.

I know a guy who has the rebel sign from Starwars tattood on his chest.

  • Intriguing. Thanks for sharing the story.

  • Glad you enjoyed it.

  • a reference on 6:03 , i prefer don't let a fool

steal your cool... i think it better

  • I think hers has something to do with the fact that people make fun of her for her tattoos and piercings.

The tattoo means she won't let them get to her.

    Maybe, possibly.

  • yeah , were"d you get yours done ?

  • Ballina.

  • Ballina austrailia ?

  • Ballina Mayo, West of Ireland.

  • oh cool , my brother got one done in staint stevens green dublen , it looks a bit like yours

  • People better not be nicking my design!

  • hope not :)

  • I should have copyrighted it.

I wonder if I can copyright the Yin Yang, I mean if Paris Hilton can copyright the phrase "That's hot" then I should be able to.

  • lol
