  • Love that she's barefoot. Something raw and natural about it? I always feel very "intune" with my surroundings while barefoot. This performance is honest and polished at the same time--not easy to pull both off. I'm also digging that little blonde back up singer with the bangs : )

  • takes a beautiful fukked up man to know and love another beautiful fukked up man-I am fukked:)

  • She played the famous ALABAMA THEATER in Birmingham last year and I won a meet & greet...she was warm, loving, and so relaxed and welcoming. We talked of our children, life, love, and laughed like girlfriends...she's so real. It was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. Thank you, dearest Sarah, thank you for the love that is your beautiful music...come back soon. ♥

  • She's just the best. Those were such good days for music, and this is one of the best.

  • Four people never built a mystery, a riddle or anything to challenge what life or music should be.... Thanks so much, Sarah...Come back to FL sometime!!

  • Saw Sarah in 2005 in Houston, she'd just returned to touring after her child was born. Half way through the show she was rocking hard on an acoustic guitar and a string broke. She got this big smile on her face, kept playing and walked over to the rythm guitar player and showed him, the string flying, then she walked over to the lead guitar player and showed him. They finished the song and with a really big smile she said "that's never happend to me in concert before...it's a GOOD night!" 2 cool

  • @karlsanmexico Great Story, TY for sharing that. Wish we could have been there

  • I freakin’ LOVE this live version of this song!!! (And actually I think the whole ‘Mirrorball’ album's GR8!!!) Her and her band just TOTALLY Rock it out here!!!! Thank U 4 sharing this AWESOME vid!!! :-)

  • We have Hurricane Irene, Canada has Hurricane Sarah and her voice that could make kings drop to their knees in god-struck awe. This is her BEST preformance-even includes "a beautiful fukked up man"-which most of us are. Love this!

  • even 240p couldn't fuck this video up

  • If we still were cavemen, i would drag her home by her hair and make her my wife and have her singing to me whenever i want. Will you marry me Sarah?

  • Canada......... be proud, very, very proud!

  • I first heard this song on mirrorball & totally fell in love;her vocals, the music, lyrics. all perfect. when I heard the studio version it was sort of a letdown since it didn't have the energy that this does(though I still love it)the audience reaction troughout the performance is amazing. esp. at the beginning of verse 3 and when she says fucked up man. her writing & vocals r amazing and she plays piano & guitar. this is a true musician.love u 4evr Sarah.

  • The drumming in this song is also very succinct, especially at 2:10. There is a certain magic to this songs' sound flow...very mystical/spiritual and truth/sweet...

  • What a bitter sweet experience to have a beautiful f--ked up man.....

  • One of the rare artists that can sound better live than in the studio.I bought Mirroball not knowing it was live and was just blown away!! She taught the angels how to sing.

  • Where does the name Mclachlan come from? I know. She is a sister from the old Gallic home of my people. I recognise this soul as I recognise my own body.

  • I wasn't a huge fan of the whole 90's chick rock genre, but this song is stellar.

  • flying while listening to it it s probably the best description i ve heard of the feeling that the song gives to me

  • I love her voice! It's so unique and captivating!

  • It's celestial! So powerful. Credit even her make up person for making her look hauntingly beautiful here. She's a great looking girl anyway, but this make up job really lends itself to the performance and the vibe of the concert. She sounds absolutely fantastic. Makes you wish you could fly while you listen to it.

  • What a voice...

  • Intelligent, immensely talented and beautiful. Rare.

    I bet she's a good speller, too.

  • i think the live version is better, it has more streght =)

  • Geez... listen to those lyrics and the crescendo that builds and builds. Absolutely perfect.

  • I was delighted to see that Sarah sings in concert barefoot, like the Sublime Sinead. This is beautiful.

  • Truly an amazing singer/songwriter. Creative, pure and extremely wholesome. One of my favorite songs to this day.

  • I LOVE THIS...CAN'T GET ENOUGH.

  • Sarah is so awesome. She is the ultimate entertainer. I love her song writing. Her performing straight from her heart and her unique voice. I believe she doesn't get half the credit she deserves.

  • Wonderful! I always think that the male voice harmonizing with hers is like amber coated with silver.

  • is it her husband?

  • I'm not sure - does anyone know?

  • i noe he sings very well with her in answer (u can see that in afterglow)

  • her husband is the drummer...

  • very good audio. it gives justice to the power of the song. 5s
