HI Guys, All I can say to those who are criticizing Ezra's driving just don't know what you are talking about. It is easy for the average guy to sit at a computer screen and claim that a driver is not going fast. It is entirely different when you are behind the wheel, with 300-400' drop offs and no guardrails. I won the event, and I look at my own video and say it looks slow, but then I remember that was not the case when I was at speed on the 341.

This video gives a good view about the new Turbo although it's very disappointing he uses the automatic mode of the PDK ... even after 10 laps!

@gallardogt He explained his choice in Automobile magazine Oct.2010 issue. "Look, if I were going to buy a 911 Turbo for myself, then I'd get the one with a manual transmission. However, I'm trying to set the fastest time possible up this hill, and Turbos with the PDK gearbox are simply quicker than Turbos without it." He does say that he used the PDK in "ultra-aggressive Sport Plus mode" and shifted manually. Just FYI

Cool setup, but why is the video quality so bad?

Video would have been so much better if:

1. There were graphics on screen to indicate speeds and RPM.

2. The camera exposure was set to show the road properly, not the car. If it was necessary to have a bright interior, you could have switched on the cabin light and perhaps even added some auxillary LED lighting. As it is, you can barely see the road, it is all blown out beyond sensors dynamic range.

3. More pronounced engine noise.

Sigh. Good driving, but please try and make better videos.
