  • @whiskeyify: Dude, the ONLY reason service can't be fired up almost instantly for a location that has had service is incompetence - or the CWA requiring 20 different people to each type something. Hell - we were doing MACDs in seconds 30 years ago. Last week a customer of mine got fixed wireless installed and online for voice and data in less than an hour - and most of that was running some CAT-5 to the roof.

Regan is not trying to complain on you guys, he is trying to make people life so so stop crying or we'll have to take you to the gynecologist

  • Dude....they can't just flip it now...the service rep has to type a service order and it goes to the central office. A tech has to type the phone number into the ESS machine. There may be additional work that has to be done in the central office or in the field as well.

    This guy doesn't know anything.
