@TheJuniorific Actually your comment is not accurate - it is a story told to us that animal testing helps makes these things safer, but if you do your own research you'll discover that many medicines and chemicals that do not effect animals are very bad for humans and vice versa. The best solution (much more accurate too) is testing with tissue growth samples, which the better companies are doing, but it is a LOT more expensive than animal testing.

I`m confused as to what exactly are these scientists testing for. Generally, a stressed or `insane` sample organism would yield inaccurate results in an experiment, unless the scientists are explicitly studying the stress responses of organisms, and would therefore have to go out of their way to design a particularly stressful enviroment for the organisms.
