Totalmente de acuerdo! esta versión que vimos es la mejor (comparada a las otras versiones) y sí, es bien dificil de conseguir... estoy en su búsqueda hace años... y lo que supe fue que Mark Mercury sólo las hizo para la serie y no las sacó como temas independientes

En esa misma época le escribí a Mercury consultándole porqué no ha hecho un relanzamiento del OST de Capitan Futuro y me respondió que las cintas originales son lo único que queda como para considerarlas como fuente original de reproducción y no están en buen estado. Shuki Levy nada tiene que ver en esta producción musical (sí tiene que ver con El Festival de los Robots)

Lo siento por LZoro, pero la versión musical de USA (Mark Mercury) es superior a la alemana (Christian Bruhn) lo cual no significa que la versión de Bruhn sea mala. De hecho hace como 10 años compré el CD de Bruhn y los temas musicales son bien buenos, pero mi percepción es que la versión de Mercury es mejor.

puedes ver en esta version sonidos de sintetizadores guitarras con picking bombos al estilo musica disco. el segundo es muy menancolico con su piano y su guitarra de fondo ,.,,, es como rock sinfonico, rock de vanguardia, no se, exelente los demas temas tambien son muy buenos, la version americana por supuesto, creo que se a perdido un valioso material al no publicarlo.

Así que...europeans, sorry but the OST from USA is the best, and let me tell you something: some chapters in the german version were censored. In consequence the TV series you watched was incomplete. On the contrary, in Americas (North, Center and South Americas) we watched the complete CF series.

I agree that this is the best soundtrack. However, I must say that I don't think these are the best two songs. There are others that are rather obscure, which create a more appropriate ambient to his trips to the the fifth dimension...

Vaya, vaya. Excelente trabajo. ¿De dónde conseguiste estos temas instrumentales? En el 2001 le escribí un email a Mark Mercury consultándole por la posibilidad de re-edición de este material, pero me respondió que no hay interés comercial en hacerlo. Tengo el CD del background music alemán que es muy bueno, pero seamos claros: a cada uno le gustará la versión que le quedó en la memoria, yo me quedo lejos con esta, con la de Mercury.

Sorry but, you cant be serious, even if you grow up with this soundtrack. The opening is.. let me say..hm ok.

Ahhhhrggg,

The american version sounds like Dallas or Denver Clan and the second like a film music for an italian film story but both have nothing to do with an dramatic science fiction sound exactly catched in like in the german version. In the german version every sound fits perferct to scenes whitch are coming in different emotional levels (rocking, thrilling, happy end, sadly), german version rocks!!

The german version is good, but not that good. The mercury soundtrack always matched perfectly the action and drama scenes of captain future. It´s really a shame that the soundtrack is not available. Then all the german audience could realize that when Christian Bruhn is OK, Mercury´s is mind blowing.

Exactamente amigo, complementaba perfectamente la serie, habia otros temas igual de buenos que los que puse en este video...pero no se de donde obtenerlos. Esto lo saque de un disco que salió en USA con el primer capitulo, lamentablemente solo habia dos temas "limpios" que son los que puse, los otros salen con dialogos...

It's probably whatever one grew up with.

This is too pentatonic for my ears.

The German version is totally in my blood on the other hand - all the pieces that Bruhn produced are total classics, he should get an Oscar.

It's also a very good production - all the sounds are perfectly arranged.

The Mercury music sounds very Asian/Japanese, but it's got the string section going for it.

At moments, the version share certain elements - I wonder who copied who in this case.

Hola, el CD no salio en EEUU. Solo existe el disco el cual vendi por ebay a un frances hace ya un tiempo. Como bonus inclui el CD remasterizado. El frances se encargo de publicarlo en su pagina. De ahi lo saco todo el mundo. Saludos.

yo estoy igual que tu... solo pude conseguir el album de ZIV International remazterizado que comento cancionestv, sin embargo seria excelente conseguir el resto de los temas, realmente son muy buenas composiciones las de Mark Mercury...

Particularmente de niño me encantaron series como Capitan Futuro, El Festival de los Robots y el infaltable Super Agente Cobra (de este ultimo despues de mucho buscar si pude conseguir toda la banda sonora)

Pero vayan a la pagina de Mercury. Ahi dice que ha recibido numerosos mails de los fans de sus soundtracks. Explica que no tiene en su poder ninguno de los sgtes ST: Angel, Captain Future, Captain Harlock, and Candy, Candy.

Tambien cuenta que no tiene idea quien es el actual dueño de ellos. Que incluso a tratado de localizar a la empresa propietaria de la musica y no ha tenido suerte. Que lastima. Nada que hacer.
