Doesn't that sound all the way around backwards? Why not just use a secular song that can be dedicated to a person?

@blivey I think that the song having Champion in it WAS calling Obama a Champion, but not referring the the lyrics to Obama.... And this can be seen as a thanksgiving and praise to God for being faithful inspite of our unfaithfulness, Lord you are my champion.... Thank you for seeing us through it all.... Don't think too deeply about it.
The song was meant for God. You wouldn't take amazing grace and dedicate to Jay-Z would you? Or Precious Lord and dedicate it to Beyonce...? And God has STILL done amazing things - whether Obama is here or not. The point is....you can't really give tribute to Obama using a song that's dedicated to someone else....I could see if someone else's NAME wasn't in it...but someone else's name IS.

@muimrm That was unnecessary. Only one who doesn't see Christ as the final authority will see the President as being a potentially failing, true believers keep Him lifted.
