So yes you could consider him straight edge although I don't think he's ever labeled himself as such. All he basically said was that he does his own thing in life and doesn't care what people think about it. Saying that, I went to one of their concert and this guy just kept talking for minutes after each song and really pissed me off. They could have done two or three more songs if only he would stop preaching his opinion. I respect the man for feeling strong about certain issues but most of us just want to hear great music.
All time fav band. Listened to em a lot when I was a teenager. Lookin back, it was pretty clear why, haha.
