@ammonthenephite Thanks. it´s just a traditional cello. The tone is more of the fingers, phrasering. This is not a studio recording or anything like that, it´s recorded in a class room with a Roland Edirol R-9. I´d love to teach you for a pop cello master course, summer camp, workshop etc.

Elias- I really apprecite this- I am a Cellist too- (31 years professionally)- started when I was 21, and then blew out my bow arm shoulder.I just reired- really tough to do. OMG. Elias, I can't stop watching your videos. Nor can my son. We are hooked and I'm not ashamed to say it. You have changed my musical life. I just purchased an upright bass as a direct result of being so taken by what I see and hear in your videos. I want to play it in church, but that will take a long time. @kingyas22 Sorry for a late reply, but just to add how to learn "this" - 1) listen to all Don Henley albums (End of the innocence, Building the perfect beast), plus all other great melodic singers. 2) Start training your ear, start from easy things, picking bass lines 3) it will improve, keep practising 4) just jam. The melodies will come.My cover of "You are not alone" is basicly me showing my influences and taking them as part of the song.Expecially the end part melodies,it is all Don Henley.
