Perhaps someone in the United States will stand up and speak out against its endless state of war, war debt, young people killed, blow-back, and countless acts of aggression world-wide.
The People's Republic of China should be absorbed by Taiwan. Free Tibet! Freedom for the people of China. Long live the Tank Man and down with communism!
@tsilimon the video illustrate more importantly is what China didn't do. PLA will try avoid killing their country people. The producer is nothing but a dildo try to stir up trouble.
This video needs to be distributed in the United States, It was a Chinese man that was heroic enough to die for this statement. However the United States is in an endless state of war.
Perhaps they are not stars but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
damn it. I hate hearing words like brainwashed, dude, when you are growing up, you had being constantly told not to do this, do that by your mother fucking parents, don't you think that's kind of brainwash? or you just keep saying others were washed, you're nothing but damn shit, coz you have no little respect to others.
What China has done to works of a great man is insulting China is about as communist as i am a potted plant. Where is the multiple party system? Where is the democracy? where is the proletarian control? where is the regulated market and classless society? it doesnt exist they only used Communism as a flag to rally people together so the government of old could secure its place as the next collective of assholes to rule the country. i feel so sorry for my chinese brothers and sisters.
I don't know what you are talkin about, but I recon it must be a really bad person in China.
If I went to your home, If I really tried, I could suro find some dirty laundry somewhere. But I wouldn't do that, because I ain't got a taste for that.
Such taste is queer, can only be driven by dirty motivations. See what I am sayin?
You do not hear many people wounded that night, just killed. A wound would bleed to kill. Those were the wrong soldiers with the wrong equipments. The god-damn PLA general who was commanding the troops that night should have brought along their MASH units too. They would do that to POWs, why not to Beijing citizens?
My classmate was wounded and bled for 8 hrs before he died. The hospital near Tian AnMen was not prepared for battle wounds at all.
Why was there a disaster-relief command center established within 20 min. of the Sichuan quake? Soldiers began to mobilize within the hour? In PLA, that "Serve the People" mind-set has always been built-in.
Do you know why Tank Man even bothered to jump atop the tank to talk to the soldier inside? Because he firmly believed PLA and its commander-in-chief were not supposed to do what they did on 6/3 and 6/4. Even kids in China know PLA will help civilians, This "Serve the People" doctrine is an standing order in PLA and has been practiced since the WWII era.
Then, on that fatal night, they called in some PLA units from the front line along the Vietnamese border to lead the way. They were trained to do something else, not policing students and citizens in Beijing. Looking back, had there been a group of professionally trained high-ranked commanders in PLA at that time, who could management a whole spectrum of different kinds of missions, my classmate Liu Hong did not have to die that night.
Deng Xiao-ping was the commander-in-chief of PLA at that time. He gave the order to disperse people from TianAnMen. General Wang Zhen was his fervid supporter.
For nearly 3 weeks, no PLA officer was really determined to carry out that order. They'd rather get stuck in the streets of Beijing.
Countless shots were being fired by thousands of soldiers constantly. I kept looking for hours on my bicycle near TianAnMen. I did not see one incident of killing. All I saw was shooting into the sky.
One of my classmates was killed that night, but such tragedy was the exception. PLA sure follow orders. But PLA is not stupid, nor hated by Chinese people.
I escaped from China the next year and became an Amrican civil engineer since. I've been thinking every day about why that happened and how to prevent something like that from happening again. If I was brain washed like you said, the brain wash would have been done by western press and media.
The bullets were flying only 3 meters behind me. We all fell onto the ground. Then I turned my head and looked. 3 PLA soldiers were shooting at the concrete pavement, just making enough noise to scare us so their truck can march on.
What do U know about PLA and China? You ain't see shit.
19 yrs ago that night, I was there when PLA vehicles were marching toward TianAnMen. I and a group of citizens surrounded a PLA platoon in a truck. They had to follow their order so they started shooting.
amazing, just amazing...i thought china's armed forces was called the PEOPLE's Liberation Army. not the shoot the peasants army.
Brave man indeed. fighting for his right to vote. from what i have read in the manifesto china has taken the militaristic approach not the peaceful alternative road to the utopia. it is unfortunate.
Today is the 19th Anniversary of the Tienanmen Square Massacre. I have not seen any piece of news or any mention of it anywhere. It is so sad that the Chinese have forgotten....
I only wish I can say I would be this brave were I to be in his shoes.

There was no cell phone like today. Otherwise the 3 students from my university could have been brought back to the school hospital and be saved.
