PT 3 I'd dear NOT call names to mess with anyone's creditablity but my point is Apostolic simply means "sent". Yes "we" are a peculiar people & a royal priesthood so our "proudness" ought not be what we wear (cause I've seen long skirt wearing ladies have babies out of wedlock & secret abortions & Bishops have extra marital affairs and children outside their wives but no one says anything.
PT 2 I was raised COOLJC as well and unfortunately just as other denominations I have seen Apostolic leading ladies, missionaries, etc with full head scrarfs long uniform, etc. misrepresent what Apostolic trully means in the way they exemplify themselves through word & deed.
PT 1 Its great they did represent what they believe, nice! Ok...I know I'm going to get "chewed out" for this but what alot of people dont understand is that being Apostolic is not about a head covering, whose dress is longest or whose shirt is closest to their necks. Being Apostolic is not about how you dress but its about how you live and the example you set for sinners to see Christ.
I'm Apostolic as well and my church believes in women covering their heads. I am really proud of them for wearing their head covering. It shows that they wont back down no matter where they are. They're holding fast to what they believe, keep it up guys.
i mean no disrespect when i ask this question im just curious, i was raise baptist and the women at my church only wear the scarfs on their head on 1st sunday, why do they where these that day or period for that matter, its nothing wrong with it im just wondering

And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head- it is just as though her head were shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head."But on 13 it says "Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her hair uncovered?"
i am elated to see a church choir holding up a standard on a nationally televised show. if the belief is that a woman should cover her head, it should never matter what's the venue. i am apostolic and this is the teaching at my church. my bishop prefers a hat rather than a prayer scarf, but here at least the principle is clearly evident. god bless your pastor! we need more men like him in the kingdom. god bless!
That's what I'm talkin' about, God truly allowed HIS light to shine through us on this day. It wasn't about winning or losing, but being proud to be true Apostolic people. We wore our head pieces proud to let the WORLD know that there are still some TRUE Holy Ghost filled, baptized in JESUS name Apostolic people out here. Still believing that there is 1 Lord, 1 Faith and 1 Baptism. Glory be to God.
