This character is from like the 70s. So i don't know how old you are but he and cookie monster were around the same time. Plus he was like only a segement so he was in like a couple episodes
the bunny is a bit less creepy than jon leguizamo (freak!), but... isn't tomato sauce made of tomatoes, and thus generally ranked as a source of veggie nutrients? (yes, i know tomatoes and cucumbers are fruit, and strawberries are not, etc.)
@libbylurker: Exactly the problem with this song! I can understand Captain Vegetable lecturing Andy about his candy habit, but he should've left Eddie alone for liking a relatively healthy food best. For Pete's sake, there's usually at least one vegetable in spaghetti sauce--sometimes more, if the recipe includes extras like mushrooms or onions. (True, none of those veggies are crunchy; and the acid in tomatoes can wear down teeth. If that was the Captain's problem, he should've said so!)
dude if I decide to go to Comic Con 2010 or OdaCon in 2010, I think I might Hafta dress up as Captain Vegetable and make sure people like Donkey Kong or Boba Fett eats their vegetables instead of fighting even Catwoman also.

the bunny is a bit less creepy than jon leguizamo (freak!), but... isn't tomato sauce made of tomatoes, and thus generally ranked as a source of veggie nutrients? (yes, i know tomatoes and cucumbers are fruit, and strawberries are not, etc.)

@libbylurker: Exactly the problem with this song! I can understand Captain Vegetable lecturing Andy about his candy habit, but he should've left Eddie alone for liking a relatively healthy food best. For Pete's sake, there's usually at least one vegetable in spaghetti sauce--sometimes more, if the recipe includes extras like mushrooms or onions. (True, none of those veggies are crunchy; and the acid in tomatoes can wear down teeth. If that was the Captain's problem, he should've said so!)
