@Arabkid99 Well, to me the worst practices amongst some Muslim sects, are: -Praying to the deceased, corpses, bones(Sufi saints); -dancing and jumping around like Naqshbandi and Qadiri sects, doing zikr; and, hitting and lacerating themselves, bleeding, during Matam-Ashura(Shia).
Asalamualeikum - just wanted to point out one minor thing, with regards to wiping the face after du'a I believe the general point is that it is bida'h to do this during witr and it should not be done during the salah but I have seen very sound evidence from Sheiukh of Ahlus Sunnah that it is not a bida'h in itself to wipe the face after du'a, you can go back to what Imam Ahmed said of this and other scholars of the past who have written on this, otherwise Jazakallah khair.
when he talks about certain sufis moving around like they're drunk or something, dancing and stuff....it just reminds me of christian evangelical churches that i've been to, and seen with my own eyes people dancing, swaying, shaking, falling on the ground and squirming, sometimes moaning..... it's random and very odd behaviour, but it makes a lot of sense when you become muslim and learn about al jinn.
if it was all good in the hood for sufisim they woodnt call themselves sufis and if they truly love the prophet saws they would follow his way, to my knowledge, the prophet never danced and pranced around and did zikr. lmao. the sufi's think there slick. but No. you fail. Islam is Islam, A muslim is a muslim, no sunni, shia, shite, sufi crap. We ArE ahl sunnah, the people who follow our messenger saws
...READ WITH YOUR HEART AND NOT YOUR EYES, THEN MAYBE YOU WILL SEEK THE INTIMACY AND THE FACE OF ALLAH INSTEAD OF TRYING TO GO TO A PLACE CALL "JANNAH". there shoodnt be any sects or difference in islam, this something that will divide. what is sufism, shia, sunni, lets follow the ISLAM, the religion sent to Muhammad (SAW) and the Quran/Sunnah, and after that be upright. Stop inventing.
The lecture is good. But I would clarify one thing about Deobandi Sunnis of Pakistan and India that they strictly believe in Tawheed and Sunnah and they are unlike Sufis called as Barailvis in India-Pakistan. Jamaat-ut-Tabligh is also very strictly Deobandi but I agree to some extent that there may be a few Sufi adherents among Jumaat-ut-Tableegh but not as whole.
JazaakaLlaah brother. I feel saying the very same things, but you have put it in better ways than I would ever have. may Allah guide us all, and our brothers 'so called' sufis, who unfortunately went too far, without evidence nor thinking.
Sufism (tasawwuf) did not appear until after the first three generations which the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) praised when he said, «The best of mankind is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them…» [narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2652; Muslim, 2533; from the hadeeth of Ibn Mas’ood].

This lecture is Amazing, May Allah reward you for clearing up so many of the questions we had. It is about time someone made a video calling Ahlul-Bida3 back to Islam. Unfortunately, sufis are good at selling there bidah and are growing all over the place....
@Arabkid99 No. I live in karachi, Pakistan. Nonetheless Sufi are almost innovators or in worse case direct or indirect polytheist they aren't in minority, they are in majority. Hanafi Sunni may be on the way of salaf but this isn't ture for Pakistan or Afghanistan, they are mostly innovator in some aspects. Almost no Salafi Sunnis exist in Pakistan. Salafi Sunnis have mixed jurisprudential approach of four Pious Imams. This is the major difference b/w Hanafis and Salafis who are exist in KSA.
Great Video, exposing the sufi cults.

It is sad that modern Islam has deviated so far from the days of Allah’s most blessed prophet Muhammad. Think you my brother for spreading the truth.
