What I really see going on in this video is a soldier complaining about his job and duty. He signed up to serve under his commander and chief and will do the duty that he was given. I am European, have lived across several continents. The one thing that unites as human beings, wherever in the world, is compassion, for that is a universal human phenomenon. But that is not to forget that greed is too. This soldier, indeed a "pawn in the grand scheme of things," speaks like any rational, HUMANE person would. Anyone who has served in the military knows that when a politician or public official or even higher brass makes a public appearance with the troops, we are on our best behavior and we are told/warned how to act and what to say and what to do. What I really see going on in this video is a soldier complaining about his job and duty. He signed up to serve under his commander and chief and will do the duty that he was given. I was more polite in my earlier comment on the video. The war wasn't started by the U.S. If someone strikes us what would you have us do, "Talk it out with the terrorists?" Yeah right! We don't negotiate with terrorists. But I still respect this man because he served but he should not be complaining about it.

Anyone who has served in the military knows that when a politician or public official or even higher brass makes a public appearance with the troops, we are on our best behavior and we are told/warned how to act and what to say and what to do. So, when McCain said that the troops told him that they want to win this war, etc., I don't doubt that. A soldier will be admonished and disciplined if he/she speaks anything other than what they are advised to say.

It's clear they have no idea about the reality YOU and your fellow soldiers are experiencing over there. Well said, congratulations for having the courage to speak the truth. It makes a huge difference when it comes from the mouth of someone who has served himself in Iraq. I'm from Australia, we have just elected a Labour Government, we will be pulling our troops from Iraq soon. The war is a disgrace. Lives are being lost because of corporate and political interests.

Check out some of the "9/11 truther" stuff. I don't believe it all 100%, but some of it -without question- has been covered up. If you research it a little, you'll soon realize that to some degree, we have all been mislead by MSmedia.

If we had not stayed out of WW2 as long as we did, then the war would not have lasted as long as it did. Do you realize that 10,000 soldiers died in "one" day on D-Day. I am amazed. All of these so called "leaders" try and lie to us about certain topics like the war in Iraq when few actually speek the truth.
