first tone is ok. that second tone is shit. so harsh and thin. sounds like foil. third tone, again, ok at best. i've heard some great tones on other vids.

Guys please help me with this one, was just about to buy the Boss ME-25 when a dude told me to check this out, Now i am confused, which one do you guys think is better? I mean tonally, I know its upto each one's taste, but tonally which would be superior in quality. The VoX ST or BOSS ME-25

@metalking40 well considering vox has been around for along time, and the amazing quality amps they have made i would say go with the tonelab, im actually getting one quite soon.

The clean tones on the ST sound OK (like most modeling units) but the overdrive / distortion is generally horrible (as you can hear in this video on Parisian Walkways and the US high gain demo) and the effects so so at best.

The VT combos sound good for just a little extra money it's worth considering a VT30.

@Patriot1962 Dude it depends on your pickups too. Maybe the guy had cheaper pickups.

great playing manand tone hey man im having a problem with my st the notes dont ring for long and have no sustain specially pinched harmonics you know what the problem is the sound kinda dissapears and the clean tone sounds very weired please help
