I'd say maybe 6 years... wow six whole years... as a kid I loved this movie... now... its like I'm only watching it to remember the days of my youth... haha now in retrospect I do remember being one of about.... ehhhhh 4 people in the theater.... the other of course was my dad who was asleep and adding soundtrack to the movie with his snoring...

at the top of comments thumbs up for it being a shit movie, did these people watch it and go back to part one to slate it or did they give up by end of part one. i saw the last 15 minutes of this film when i got in one night and thought the ending was good. good enough to want to watch the whole thing now. yes the text intro is too much info, maybe people who dont like, gave up then as they had to read a bit, but from the first part here the movie has set up a sense of mystery nicely

@supermariofan03 It's about an investigator who goes into a haunted mansion to get a suicide note and has to fight some creatures. It's a survival horror game and has... nothing to do with this film whatsoever. Not dogs or experiments and stuff.

@supermariofan03 there is original trilogy set in 1920s, New Nightmare set in 2001 and this movie is based on it and Inferno, but that game sucked, games are about detective Edward Carnby who gets caught by paranormal on his cases, original trilogy and New Nightmare rule
