  • i start my basic bush firefighters course on Thursday, cant wait to so stuff like this

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA......

    WTF

    THIS IS JOKE

  • They were moving pretty fast for a training burn. The class I was in you aproteced alot slower.

  • You call that an effective stream????

  • Dude! I'm soo gonna light a propane tank... now how to do it safely?

  • what hapend when the valve is destroyed by the hotness : seems the fire was not ended

  • Actually propane tanks Do blow up...hence the key word in BLEVE = explosion. I was a firefighter for an oil company and we mainly kept the vessel wet and cool as possible ...not actually concerned with putting out the fire right away. Cool wet tanks dont BLEVE but they will burn out the fuel eventually.

  • ok propain tanks dont blow up...per say they BLEVE..or Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion, ...anyway i hope this was one of the frist eveolutions because when i did it .... we had a whole hell of alot more fire .. like 50-100 foot flames ......and extream heat. Its the coolest thing because propain is so cold that there was actually frozen cunks of this stuff breaking off and burning on the ground .....cool shit... but anyways

  • :35 reachin in there like a badass haha

  • yeah fuk that, i would not wanna go near that bulk tank!

  • how to: kill about 15 brave man with one propane tank

  • This a refinery fire situation. This is how a refinery fire team will douse a pressurized lpg type fire. you actually do need that many people to do this correctly. Just 3 people per hose line, and someone guiding. Its pretty effective. We were taught this method from the arco refinery fire team. Its a totally different game than structural.

  • Why so many fireman to douse this tank fire. In reality, a burning prophane tank is like a bomb ready to blow.

  • Its a training. Real situation probably 3 firefighters on the hose with another team providing cooling and backup.

  • my bad. 3 on each hose usually at lest two hoses. One team leader who approaches between each line and shuts valve off.

  • In reality propane tanks will not blow as long as you keep the tank wet enough to keep the metal from getting hot enough to weaken..

  • we use 2 teams and one back up...

  • Very nice men

  • nice fog pattern
