  • god, excellent player!

  • Watch 2:30. Looks like Matusow made a mess in his pants after he saw that call lol

  • Inside the mind of PA... IMO

Checking the flop first to act is standard. If he had strong hand on the turn he'd definitely because of the FD and broadway cards. if he only had a pair on the river he'd block bet for like 2-3k, or check. If he had 66 or 34 he wouldn't bet 9k = BLUFF

  • the first raise was way too late...

  • They've all got Full Tilt Poker badges all over them and it turned out to be a scam site

  • at 0:34 my mum got into the room and said : Why Flop has three cards ???

  • me lo agarraron en la movida al piche bloffer

  • wow i would never said he´d call there! oh wait the title says it very clearly.

  • like a calling station, lol

  • i could make that call in my sleep

  • Easy call with Q high, everyone is always bluffing.

  • one of the reasons he made the call was because its being broadcast on tv and he will look like a genius. he may well have folded if there were no cameras. obviously he knew that there was a decent chance he was ahead

  • @bcthighs but if wrong, look like moron. think it didnt have to do wit cameras

  • ha i love how these announcers assume to think for the best player sin the world...theres a reason your not on TV stfu.

  • Wow world class call by Patrick Antonius to win the pot! Those calls are why he is so great! Nice job Patrick Antonius!

  • i wanna play mouly hu o_o

  • p.s. nobody is trying to insult you - you are insulting poker.

  • and thank you for turning a curious question into something trying to insult me. Shows a lot of class trying to rag on someone over the internet.

  • So just throwing it out there: What would have drawn more respect for Patrik here? Hero call or Hero Raise?

  • @ctom30872 call, why would he raise?

  • @trainwrecked1000 Just to show he's confident that he's got the other guy beat.

  • @ctom30872 thats lol, think about why he would raise, he is never getting worse than q hi to call him, so by raising he turns his hand into a bluff...which he doesnt need to do- if he is confident he has the other guy beat on that level then call is the hero move.

  • @trainwrecked1000 Why just call?!I thought the point of the game was to get all the chips, not to show you can beat the other guy and that your a genius. If I was that confident I had him beat, I re raised to 25-30k. If Mouly folds, fine, i still win the money that was there. I don't see Mouly being able to raise it again with only a 10 high and two over cards. At most I see him just call, in which case Patrik just wins more chips that with just the call.

  • @ctom30872 mega lol. do you think antonius can call if he gets reraised? why wouldnt the other guy reraise? it is his only chance to win the pot ? at most you see him just call????? lol with 10hi???are you just messing with me or something or do you really not understand how the game is played? - you strike me as a player that does not understand why you are checking/calling/raising- sounds like mono level poker - which is not what they are playing. take care bud.

  • @trainwrecked1000 especially at the high stakes tables which you so obviously frequent....oh wait, thats play money.

  • @trainwrecked1000 Yeah I like to see the guy reraise antonius after antonious puts in a overbet of 30k. There is NO WAy the guy is gonna do that with a 10 high. The most he will do would be to call, 9 out of 10 times, it will be a fold. Im just saying: instead of a hero call, I would just reraise, THe point of poker is to be unpredictable. Not just what your cards are, but also mixing up your game. If that was Tom Dwan, he probably have done the reraise. Play for the win, not the image.

  • @ctom30872 Antonius only has showdown value - if he thinks Mouly is completely bluffing. A raise from Antonius is only going to get a raise or fold from the other guy. If he folds, there was no point in raising; if he re-raises, how can Antonius call? It's back to re-raise or fold (probably fold). The only point in raising Mouly's 9k is if Antonius is trying to push him off a 5 or 6 - which he likely doesn't overbet anyway.

This is the basics though. We're missing previous hands info, etc.

  • @ctom30872 ultra lol. 1/10 he calls a rasie with 10 hi? the only 2 plays he could make is 4bet or fold. silly monkey.

  • Patrik called to get information. He did not expect to win the pot.

  • Wow.

  • THE BIGGEST WHAT? WHAT'S HE ONE OF THE BIGGEST OF?

  • @tikkj Of the biggest poker players.

  • I think I would called too!! A-s or J-s must bet on flop because there were two clubs on flop...that's why he had not A or J....and overbet with 2, 5 and 6 it's bad game....2 5 6 must check because they have good showdownvalue here....if he had straight he wouldn't bet 9000...he probably made 1/2 or 2/3 bank bet because he don't want Antonius to fold!! It turns out that he had nothing, and if it is true only king and Q 10 can win me!! Yes, I would called too!!

  • @fcKristall wow ppl on youtube always think they r geniuses. sometimes ppl overbet a random straight, two pair or a set that they made on the river to disguise it as a bluff. patrick wouldnt have made that call if he didnt have any history with the other player, and if u called that bet based on ur read of only this situation without knowing any info on the player, then its a bad call

  • I really think that playing against these players is -EV.

  • haha Matusow's face when PA turned his cards over at 2:28

  • Nice read

  • hahaha "I was trapping all the way" =D
