  • Try cornering lol

  • Reckon Del boy and Rodders might want to upgrade to that!

  • Comment removed

  • @HRVAT1975 Not sure why your comment was removed? Not by me. Pretty slow for a V8? Considering it was a stock straight from the scrap yard 150 bhp 3528cc Rover V8, I thought it was quick. I know of no other door slammer that has run quicker with a stock Rover V8.

  • @BVM428T

lol.. I think i removed it after i read description, I thought it was a big worked engine.. here is a good example where why people should read description first then ask and post comments.. For a stock junk yard motor it is fast.. is this your car?

  • @HRVAT1975 Yes my car built when I was 20.

  • what kind of V8 is in this?

  • @extremepsychogamer 3528cc Rover V8, straight from the scrap yard, even with the old spark plugs. 150bhp as standard.

  • reliant kitten > reliant robin.

  • Original Kitten could do 93mph, how fast does this go.

  • lol at the illuminati conspiracie comments in a Robin video. It's scary ppl theyre gonna take over and force you to use the cheap rough toilet paper that hurts your backside. You watch!

  • Epic lulz.

  • ok, now i need to ask:

what are those things on the exhaust? the caps with rivets/bolts around the outside edge?

ive seen them a few times, but never actually found out what they are lol

  • @iwanthalo3 It's a Supertrapp muffler. He should've removed the end plates for a drag race, though.

  • Britain's answer to the AMC Gremlin? What a Kittieclaws/Little Tiger!!

  • Supertrapps!!

  • Put a V8 in the Robin

  • Man that car is smaaaallll. Good thing it's lowered cuz it looks very unstable. Cut a turn too sharp and you're on the side. Or god forbid, you wrap it around something at top speed. Need outriggers!

  • This is so cool cos I know wot an anchor the original car was......

  • OMFG!!! WHERE CAN I GET 1 AND HOW MUCH!!!

  • RENAULT RIALTO NOT ROBIN!!

  • @MrLeighharris ? renault ?

  • 4 wheels? o.O

  • more like lion now..

  • lol in my mind i had the same idea to put 4 wheels on a reliant robin because it would look cool

  • That looks mean...

  • Lots of power in a very short wheelbase!

    Wild looking little car!

  • It was assembled and sold in India by Sipani Automobiles as "Dolphin". We bought one in 1984. We drove it almost 60000 Kms without any problem except fuel lines clogging frequently (might be poor quality fuel in market). It's double wishbone suspension at front was too sturdy never serviced, we never did front wheel alignment. Only engine oil and filters were changed at every 5000 Kms. Once crashed & it never could be repaired to original form. Cramped inside but one of the best handling cars.

  • nice car . i have always loved the big motor small car set up nice work!

  • i so remember there been a 3wheel 1 to about the same time to,ooo it was dark green to

  • Super! Wpisz: RENOWACJA KOMAR 232

  • Saw the build pics. Mammoth effort! Awesome! Especially in that tiny garage.

  • c ben laid

  • This is my fave pro street car of all time its awsome.

  • haha that is quality! drive up in your kitten and woop the lot!! we had reliant scimitars when i was growing up so this is great:) im a cough morris minor man now,but you should take a peak at the beardmore bros. moggies too!! type in 'morris minor first drive' and click on the authors vids, the grey/green convertible morris minor..:D

  • does it look like it's got 4 wheels or is it just me??

  • Its a reliant kitten the 4 wheeled version of the robin

  • omg !! i havnt seen this car in years. the first time i saw it , it was in street machine magazine back when i was a wee nipper.........what a wicked car.

  • Me too. A Beardmore brother built it I think. Looks totally unchanged since the feature.

  • I remember it from Street Machine too! I still have the mag in the loft.

  • looks horribly unstable

  • I could do full acceleration runs with only a finger and thumb holding the steering wheel. It wasnt a handfull at all and drove very nicely.

  • @BVM428T Until you turn.

  • @ocdpfsas l;ol....good one!

  • @BVM428T and...... ONE FINGER ONE THUMB KEEP MOVING!!! lmao

  • @BVM428T like a kitten!

  • @campaug why a kitten?

    why not a rover sd1?

  • @campaug looks horribly way more stable then a normal reliant. 4 wheel reliant is cheating

  • @campaug reliant robin my friend =P

  • That looks awesome!

  • i doubt it

  • cool, if reliant had put that in production maybe they'd still be around..!

  • @mattnation73 Yeah, it's Economic Democracy on wheels: Pure British Bollocks without the politicians giving in to their Illuminati masters and favouring "Lieber Deutschland" as they clearly do today.

  • @mattnation73 the whole point of a reliant robin was so that people with motorcycle licenses could have another option than taking the buss in the winter, so the reliant robin was insured as a motorcycle and not a car, but they should have also made a 4 wheeled car as well!

  • @TheRedSled97 They did make 4 wheeled cars - the Scimitar, Fox, and Kitten - all crap, but they didn't go rusty as they were made of fibreglass.
