I think a certain creepy gentleman may be visiting the same tanning solarium as Posh Spice, Paris Hilton and whichever fuck-wit celebrity graces the particular pages of the news these days .
I saw this. For films that weren't intended to be the least bit funny but ended up absolutely hilarious, this takes the cake. By comparison, "Manos: the Hands of Fate" seems like "The Shining".
they had a screening of this movie not too long ago but i missed it. I'm a big fan of the cheesy crappy horror movies like bloodfeast and suspiria and whatnot. I have been wanting to see this film for a while, does anyone know where i can find this? Ive tried hunting it down but no luck! I don't know if and when they will be screening it again but some info on it would be helpful if anyone has any
This trailer seems to cover everything i would have wanted to see in this movie, hahah. but there's still a part of me that wants to see more... more i tell you, more!
I just saw this over the weekend with an introduction of the current film curator who took over from her - Dorris Wishman's original version of this was taken and she had to re edit the entire film from snippets of bad takes (I don't recall seeing any of these shots from the trailer in the actual film). She directed this in her mid 60's as well.
Good title at least. And it does look like this flick has its share of pretty good carenage in it. However I do know that, in alot of these cases, they make the movie look better than it realy is in the trailer so....
Much of the print was destroyed at the film lab so Wishman decided to piece a movie together with what was left - this explains this movie's unique nature.
I saw this. The most hilarious thing I've ever seen. It taught me that more can go wrong with a movie besides bad acting, directing, dialogue, score, lighting, and editing. Well, actually, it is all that...but somehow, more.
oh man. this is so much worse than DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT. you can't even imagine. i highly recommend it if you're into off the hook psycho-masochistic endurance tests.
the director commentary track alone is worth the price of the dvd. it's hysterical!
@maggieman Hey, I don't finde anything in this movie any "cheesier" that those vapid computer effects and silicone tits commonly dissplayed in all your mega-budgeted hollywood "master works of high art", .. if one wants to talk "cheese" .
@Skulldini lolz, sorry bruh, this was three years ago, i was 14 or 15 at the time, and i didn't really get the appeal. it looks like a lot of fun now, though, that i re-watch it
hahaha. perfect comment. or as the brits might say, bloody perfect comment mate. see? i'm worldly.
great shit? well i should say not. otherwise i wouldn't be recommending it. if you have trouble finding it cheap, let me know and i'll try to help hook you up.
the director commentary for this dvd release btw is one of the funniest i've ever listened to. the movie itself is an endurance/insanity test.
@deadenddrivein Nah dude, I'm not into movies as endurance tests. If a flick isn't entertaining to watch, if it's boring or whatever, then I prefer just not see it.
However, deadenddrivein, I'd have you elaborate a bit more on WHAT makes THIS particular flick such a dud in your eyes? Now, judging by the footage shown in this trailer here ( aside from the old narator guy ), it does look like it at least fills it's roll as a creepy and gruesome horror flick, .. and THAT is what one watches it for, if one is a fan of this kinde of flick to begin with .
oh, you cannot imagine. in the right frame of mind though (heavy narcotics) i suppose the sheer level of magnitude of its soul-sucking awfulness could be mildy engaging in its own right. in very brief doses.
