But we must remaind, that Parviainen keep for now Finland record 93,09m, so it is 3 longest throw in all time for (this javelin model!) Zelezny have 98,48m and 94,??m and Parviainen came third. Then fourth came Reimond Hecht 92,60m.
Okay, i didint know, that Jan have throw twice 95m and 94m. I remember, that he throw those meters in mid 90:th. But so what! Zelezny came first and Aki second in total records!
Seppo Räty is best finish javelin thrower, becose he has moust more medals. WC 1987 gold, OG 1988 bronze, WC 1991 silver, OG 1992 Silver, EC 1994 silver, OG 1996 bronze. So i think he is the Finnland best thrower ever!? Sure we have all Olympic Game`s Javelin throw gold medals in this day total 9 Gold and meny more silver and bronze medals and meny World Records..
Becose he throw that 96m. in old javelin model and just before a new javelin-model came, so Finland lost that avesome throw in the air and now days nobody remember that enymore. Only Zeleny`s 98m.
seppo's throw of 96m was valid and it was with the new javelin model. but he threw it with a rough tailed javelin. and they baned the rough tailed javelin because of seppo's 96m and that they could be thrown over 100m
i dont think that parvianem is the greatest javelin thrower :S, for finns javelin throwers i think that tero is the best. he will have the finn record, maybe this year
is very dificult to say who is the best in different times....
Seppo!Tapio Kojus
Aki Parviainen
Tero Pitkamaki!
is not easy...in my opinion Aki´s the best!

Well he did throw those in the mid 90's. Two times over 95m in 1993 and 94 meters in 1992 and 1997.
