Also, "bass'ilar" is the pronunciation preferred for the basilar artery.
smoking and a diet high in fats, sodium, and sugar add to the risk of weakening of arteries. high blood pressure also adds to the risk. if you have a family history of aneurysms, you are more at risk, also if you are a male over 65.

"AngioGRAM" is the picture;[ -'graph' would only refer to the machine taking the picture]. "Angiography" is the procedure of making the picture.

Is there a way to prevent aneurysms with diet, lifestyle change, etc?? PLEASE reply quickly..thanx! ;-)
p.s. can aneurysms be caused by exercising?
