Heres how I like at it, Parvati- Outwit, she only ran argueably the most succesful alliance ever in micronesia, made the villains look like total idiots at the tribal council where she played 2 idols and made Russell even look like the biggest asshole in the world that season.
Outplay-She won like 3 immunity challenges in H vs V and 1 in Micronesia, Outlast 2nd most days only to a guy who has played 4 times.

Russell never played a BAD social game; unlikeable, yes, but bad, no. The sad truth is that the jury could care less about outwit, outplay, and outlast; they just vote for whoever is most likeable. In HvV, Russell had little to nothing to do with Parvati losing; the heroes voted for Sandra as a way to thank her for trying to save them.

They wouldn't have beaten Jerri either had they gone to the end with her instead of Sandra.

Amanda and Candice voted for Sandra probably out of jealousy.

@psychokinrazalon huge mistake or not he was voted out very early, you could say that he was targeted by almost everyone and just couldn't overcome his survivor reputation, but parvati had the same thing twice and went to the end twice, and I think Parvati should have won over Russell, Russell should have won samoa granted but I thought Parv played better in H vs V, if Russell was so good at the game he could have been able to get Julie to change her vote and send Ralph home.

Hell, there were several so-called "favorites" that I happen to despise, and several of my favorite contestants didn't come back. Also, Russell DID INDEED try to get Julie to change her vote, and she would've if she was smart. Russell and Parvati both played pretty much the same game in HvV.

@cooledge47 No, it was the greatest season in recent years. The best seasons were the older ones (1- All Stars) when half the players weren't recruited like they are now. Every season they overload on younger hot girls and big ego guys, not enough genuine people like in the earlier seasons. Just look at this season: girls like Semhar, Elyse, and Whitney would never have been on the old seasons, neither would've big drama Brandon or Papa Bear.
Russell Hantz, the best player to ever grace the game with his presence. Too many people who play this game are there to make friends, and have to much respect for other players. It's Outwit Outplay Outlast all of which Russell did, they were so embarrassed by how easily Russell beat them they could not give him the million. @MultiJiles why do people make friends on survivor? gee idk cuz only 1 can win. but if u dont win, you can still get stuff out of the experience by making new friends, having some fun, and enjoying yourself in an environment you probably won't ever be in again. Survivor's tough and yes you have to coem into the game ready to play the game, but to only play the game and completely ignore all the other aspects is foolish.

@GhoullyXX it's not about being the nice guy, the game is made for strong minded and bodied people to use every skill they have to fight for survival (well, staying in the game at least). But that's beside the point, what russel did was play a nearly perfect textbook game. If everyone on this game was like you, it would be fucking boring, watching people cry over the people they have to eliminate, and everyone wants to be everyone else's friend. That's just not how you play survivor.
I agree couldn't even make it through second half of Nicaragua. The worst most hated cast and season ever. I just hated everybody so much in this season. This new season though is awesome. Russell got the boot early on and now Rob is in control.

Russell got me back to watching Survivor again.Who else could bring you to the finals down 8 to 3? He managed to flip this boring game around and saved the entire franchise. He's an evil genius. The blindsides on Kelly and Laura of this season, and Tyson and J.T. of HvV were probably 4 of the top 5 blindsides I have seen in Survivor (I know that Tyson and J.T. were just dumb, but if Russel had not have given Parvati his idol both times, he would not have gotten as far as he did in HvV)
totally agree, Russell should have won hands down. the jury needs to step back and look objectively at the final 2-3's performance rather than not vote for who pi**ed them off the most at some point during the game.

This was my favorite season by far. I was so upset when Russell didn't win. He took all of them out one by one, and there was nothing they could do. It sucks that the jury didn't pick him. They were probably just pissed that they had had the numbers and still couldn't beat Russell and the other three remaining people of his tribe. This was the season of blindsides, that's for sure.

If Russell had been on the earlier seasons where actual strategy was more important (before the idols), he wouldn't even have made merge. He is abrasive, arrogant, and outspoken, and in the end, it is a social game. He made the stupidest moves of Samoa and HvV when he took well liked players to the end.

@xramborinox Even with one idol, the Heroes would've been stupid to vote against her and risk being outnumbered 5-4 afterwards. She only stayed in because she either won immunity or Russell chose to spare her on his own accord without ANY influence from her. And Alexis and Natalie would've had to have been stupid to not allign with Erik and James; if they didn't, they would've been outnumbered 3-2 at the final five. Besides alot of the game is luck, Russell got lucky when he got Tyson out lets say for instance, it was Rob Sandra and Courtney* that were supposed to vote for Russell and Jerri Coach and Tyson supposed to vote for Parv on the split vote, nothing could have been done their which was luck for Russell.

@cooledge47 No, it was the greatest season in recent years. The best seasons were the older ones (1- All Stars) when half the players weren't recruited like they are now. Every season they overload on younger hot girls and big ego guys, not enough genuine people like in the earlier seasons. Just look at this season: girls like Semhar, Elyse, and Whitney would never have been on the old seasons, neither would've big drama Brandon or Papa Bear.

Russell Hantz, the best player to ever grace the game with his presence. Too many people who play this game are there to make friends, and have to much respect for other players. It's Outwit Outplay Outlast all of which Russell did, they were so embarrassed by how easily Russell beat them they could not give him the million. Survivor's tough and yes you have to coem into the game ready to play the game, but to only play the game and completely ignore all the other aspects is foolish.

But that's beside the point, what russel did was play a nearly perfect textbook game. If everyone on this game was like you, it would be fucking boring, watching people cry over the people they have to eliminate, and everyone wants to be everyone else's friend. That's just not how you play survivor.

I agree couldn't even make it through second half of Nicaragua. The worst most hated cast and season ever. I just hated everybody so much in this season. This new season though is awesome. Russell got the boot early on and now Rob is in control.

Btw I was kinda disappointed Russell didn't try to scramble more before being voted out, I think he might have swayed someone else. Didn't even seem he put a lot of work into the firegirl. I think what screwed him most was Ralph finding the idol before him.

Russell got me back to watching Survivor again.Who else could bring you to the finals down 8 to 3? He managed to flip this boring game around and saved the entire franchise. He's an evil genius. He dominated this entire game his way. Voting rules need to change. A million dollars voted by the viewers who actually matter the most and 500,000 voted on by the Jury.

The blindsides on Kelly and Laura of this season, and Tyson and J.T. of HvV were probably 4 of the top 5 blindsides I have seen in Survivor (I know that Tyson and J.T. were just dumb, but if Russel had not have given Parvati his idol both times, he would not have gotten as far as he did in HvV)

This was my favorite season by far. I was so upset when Russell didn't win. He took all of them out one by one, and there was nothing they could do. It sucks that the jury didn't pick him. They were probably just pissed that they had had the numbers and still couldn't beat Russell and the other three remaining people of his tribe. This was the season of blindsides, that's for sure.

@mrbrdo Didn't get enough votes? He got 2 the first time and 0 the second time. He didn't get robbed. The only reason he lasted as long as he did was because of the idols. If Russell had been on the earlier seasons where actual strategy was more important (before the idols), he wouldn't even have made merge. He is abrasive, arrogant, and outspoken, and in the end, it is a social game. He made the stupidest moves of Samoa and HvV when he took well liked players to the end.
