Now I crave to find something of semi-intrinsic value but I'm stuck in the worst place to find such a thing. All I can find is The Patuxent River Stone aka, pink quartzite. If anyone can help please let me know.

@mmmmm9872345 Hi, this is a privately operated mine sorry to say.. These arelarge crystals of garnet, not highly valuable, but very unique.. Garnets occur all over the world. some are big, some are small gemmy and very valuable..like more than a good diamond..

Yes, but how many of these are actually "gem" quality garnets, with good color and excellent transparency with little to no inclusions? Most likely very, very little.
