sure spartans are epic, but what would they be without their precious cannon fodder... marines. marines are like the bullets in their guns.. it takes a whole assault mag to get the shield of the elite. but whenever you see ninja spartans running around in movies, killing like nothing, jumping sky high... well, then they always get help from a nearby marine, because he is doing the main work.

@stargate12345678 Thats the Mk. 4 armor(from Halo Wars). It was all big and over-sized. If a person who was the size of Jorge and a person who was the size of a 12 year-old were standing next to each other in that armor, they would be almost the exact same size. The Mk. 4 had things like small motors and hydrolics of some kind plus theSPARTANs augmentations to make them stronger. The small motors and hydrolics were abandonded when ONI created the Mk. 5 armor

@ky13s4 Um... no.. Not at all. Carter was by far one of the best Spartans known to man. He was the highest ranking Spartan in any of the Spartan programs from I to IV. He was the second highest possible rank you can get in the military. John, according to Cortana, is just extremely lucky. That's why she chose him.
