WOW! You must have been so scared. You are a true hero. You would have given up your life for Maria. I knew at a very young age how wrong these things are but I never experienced what you have. As an adult I have put myself between an abuser and a child. If any-one is going to hurt a child while I'm around they are going to have to come through me first. You did that as a child!
