Well I am an Indian. Thanks to You Tube, I found this song whose instrumental version I heard first in 1991, I came to hear the song after 20 years in Nov.4 2011. :-) It brings back the sweet memories of traveling with my Uncle Alex (who was a priest), on his Volkswagen Jetta, where he used to play beautiful Italian Songs from cassettes and that's when I fell in love with Italian songs. I really miss all those good days. I nearly came to tears hearing this lovely song.
@arunalpho I have a similar feeling! Italian songs remind me of 1991-1995 when my family and I used to make 10 hour trips (1000km) in argentina to visit our grandparents in the summer for christmass. My dad used to play Nicola di Bari's tapes in his peugeot 505. Here are two examples of the songs i used to listen, they give me goosebumps and bring me images of the road with the wheat and corn fields on the sides. Good old 90's!
