Omg , I have a tummy tuck done 3 years ago , and now I just got married and my husband doesn't have kids. I have two kids already . He wants to have kids , oh my god I do not want to get pregnant again and ruin my surgery , at the same time he wants a baby. Probably I will look like you if I get pregnant. How does your belly look like after the baby born?
i had a disease that made me gain a lot of weight. my doctor suggested i have a tummy tuck to get rid of the weight i can't lose on my own and fix the stretched skin. im only 24, and my boyfriend and i want to have a family in the future. need some advice about whether or not to have the surgery before pregnancy or weight. id like to have it done as soon as possible, so i feel better about my appearance and myself. Any info will help alot thanks so very much for sharing.
This is a friendly question just to clarify but why get a tummy tuck before guetting pregnant ? Isnt it just going to stretch the scar and make it more obvious ? :/
can i ask if the skin stretching hurts more now than with the first pregnancy.....and if it does do you think its because the skin behaves differently after a tuck, because there will be less skin ....or did your skin just adapt?....congratulations on doing what you felt best (and now you have a baby on the way!)....it must of been a bit of a challenge.

the dr who did that surgery is an animal , those scars look horrible. I thought mine looked bad but I guess not , I still have no sensation from my belly button down . And i feel like if my muscles are loose after I had my baby do you feel the same

But earlier this year I found out I was pregnant, not planned I was on the mini pill and other medication prescibed, so not wanting to be pregnant, what should I have done?

@XQueenieXBX I had the TT because I lost and a hell of a lot of weight, also with the pregnancies it was a mess, and under my skin it was sore and getting infected so cutting the skin away was what I wanted to do, and I paid for it!!!! So don't think it was a vain thing to do as it was medical also. And who ever said they loved their bumps? I love the baby in there, but pregnancy is crazy.
@ThePenguinmummy Yeah sorry if i sounded harsh but it's just my opinion. i love my bump, pregnant with my 3rd child but i have been fortunate to have had no real problems with stretch marks, loose skin etc. If you had it for medical reasons then i can see why.
I can not afford £7500 for another TT but luckily my belly dodn't luck too bad, i'm positive I won't have overhanging skin that will become infected, so there is no need for a TT. Thankyou!

oh my gosh! same thing happened to me! less than a year after my tummy tuck, I thought i couldn't get pregnant cause i only had 1 tube and 1 ovary left and next thing u know........ baby time!

Has the re-stretching process been painful? I also have had a full tummy tuck. I was told it would be VERY painful to re-stretch those muscles. Good luck to you. I cant believe how lucky I was to find your post THANK YOU!
