  • Not a bad idea, Laci!

    :)

  • Ahh :D....My name is/was Lacey too! :3

I agree with you, 100% **nod nod**

  • You must be a Ron Paul supporters, federal government should not be in marriage

  • @metahelix

says who... you? both the state (government) & the church will both be held accountable by God... like it or not.

  • @dustydirt THEN LET THEM BE ACCOUNTABLE BY GOD WHEN THE TIME COMES, TILL THEN LET PEOPLE DECIDE IF THEY WANNA GO TO HELL, I THOUGHT WE ALL HAD FREE CHOICE, NOT FREE CHOICE WITH LAW FULL ENFORCEMENT BY CHRISTIANS. DONT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT QUOTING PARTS OUT OF A BOOK THAT WE THINK IS CRAP DOES NOT HOLD WEIGHT FOR US.

  • @metahelix

you hate God & i know that. actually Gods word speaks all about the unwilling believer. you do believe, you just supress it with your unrighteousness. you love to sin, but thats ok... i used to love my sin too. but you see, it will be too late when you're dead to repent. today is the day for salvation for you know not when you will die. so...

    seek Jesus!

  • @dustydirt Thats the problem with you Christians, you dont have any idea who i am. NONE, you never met me or have spoken to me, you know squat about me but you take it upon yourself to judge me and put me in one of your boxes. What if i have never slept with a woman, never took drugs or alcohol, never swore and etc. Did God give you permission to say i hate God? did i say i hate God? What if i hold God in the highest regard bud despise hypocrisy like this by people like you?

  • @metahelix

firstly - some1 who says God's book is "crap" (as you stated previously) does not hold God in the highest regard... talk about hypocrisy.

secondly - u say im judging yet in that same sentence ur doing the very same thing... juding my judgement. hypocrite... 2 fold.

the problem with u humanist, is that you cannot live out your worldview. constantly borrowing from the Christian worldview. thus, living a life bound with hypocricy.

Matthew 10:22 says that you are a God hater.

  • @dustydirt "the problem with u humanist, is that you cannot live out your worldview. constantly borrowing from the Christian worldview." Christians borrowed the golden rule from earlier texts including the Book of the Dead. Humanists are not borrowing anything particular from christians when it comes to morality. It was already there before your little texts were compiled together by Constantine.

  • @AMomentOfClarity2011

same ole ignorant typical responses. hand me down info without any desire to research yourself to find truth.

constantine... give me a break. that's been answered hundreds of years ago.

book of the deads is for mystics, witches, goths, and anyone attracted to the mystery of death. a book where there is no salvation to be found.

generic answers for a generic dude.

    seek Jesus!

  • @dustydirt Have you actually read the translations for the book of the dead?

It talks about how you are to be judged worthy for salvation and resurrection. It gives guidelines to be a 'good' person (in egyptian times).

Have you read the Code of Hammurabi, that predates even the Jewish texts by many centuries? These legal codes offer moral guidelines too including not bearing false witness.

You cannot dismiss the truth of your stolen morality by claiming the BOTD only for witches, etc.

  • @AMomentOfClarity2011

morality comes from God in the book of genesis (THE beginning).

morals didnt come into existence when moses recvd the tablets from God on the mountain... & the book of genesis predates any & everything.

so let me ask you 2 questions.

who are you relying on to forgive your sins?

are there absolutes in your world?

  • @dustydirt "the book of genesis predates any & everything." No it does not. There are far older religions and civilisations than the Israelites, and they had morals then, and codes of conduit. Hinduism is far older than even Judaism, and there were others before them.

The time the texts are written is what matters, not what they say in them. Every religion has a creator, and many including hinduism deal with the origins of the universe.

You may have read only one book on religion.

  • @AMomentOfClarity2011

    hinduism is humanism.

you can speak of civilization before "THE (definate article) beginning" in the bible, but there is no proof. it all starts with your presupposition. you wish to kick God out of your life because you don't want anyone interferring with your life, so obviously your presupposition is in man's ability to save themselves, even though you see man killing eachother.

what is hinduisms origin of the universe?

  • @dustydirt "but there is no proof." Ask a historian. Its fact that there were plenty of civilisations before the Israelites existed. Where did you think the egyptians came from? Their civilisation was 5000 years old.

Google "Hindu cycle of the universe" for more info on what their religion proposed.

why not do some actual research. Every religion has creation myths. some far more interesting than christians.

  • @dustydirt "so obviously your presupposition is in man's ability to save themselves" Since I don't believe in zeus, allah, thor, Ishvar, Waheguru, Parvardigar or Yeshua or any of the other thousand gods that man made up, what other choice is there.

The buck stops at humanity, if we don't save ourselves then we are screwed. Fairy tales is not gonna cut it, and 10,000 years of such fairy tales has shown religion fails to address the issue, but often makes it worse.

  • @dustydirt "hinduism is humanism". Only in some ways, it has a lot of theology and god worship in it too. You can take any religion and form a humanistic approach if you want. There is christian versions too based on St. Justin Martyr's writings.

    Whats your point?

  • seek Jesus.

  • @dustydirt seek knowledge

  • @metahelix

    to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

    Colossians 2:2b-3

    like i said... see Jesus

  • It's actually a pretty good proposition. I need to force it in Poland too:)

  • Great tits. I wanna fuck you.

  • Hi

  • I like the way you think. <3

  • YOU'RE A GENIUS!!!!!!

  • DO. NOT TOUCH.

    love it!

  • Omg ur so HOT!

  • Please give me offspring. Call me.

  • I had the volume down, I was too busy pitching a tent to care enough to turn it back up and listen to what was being said here.

  • Here's my question. Why is youtube constantly pushing videos from 3-5 years ago? I'm not saying Laci isn't worthy but you would think they would be pushing something more current?

  • so change some lawz about civil unions... BLOW!

  • BTW nice boobs

  • Having equal government benefits conflicts with separation of church and state. So you would have to eliminate benefits all together for it to work. That would mean the government would have to give up power. Which is the equivalent of asking a government dependent to give up food stamps. You would have better luck convincing people not to be ignorant. I’m ignorant of many things. But you r ignorant in thinking you can reason with religious fanatics that have fags are going to hell signs.

  • I am a Christian and have been saying this FOREVER!!!! I'm glad people with other perspectives have seen the logic in this solution!

  • Ok, sorry but it is just talking about heterosexual people.

  • Do you know that in Mexico we have both religious and civil marriage. You can get married just under the law or if you want by your religion too. Just as a comment :)

  • lol you crack me up in every vid.. as i am new. again im a christian.. but i dont have a problem with gays. you have come across some crazy christians, as have i buttttt anyway.. marriage is for love, im married, got married in a courthouse NOT a church.. its the same thing.. and gays are getting married now, people will just have to change with the times :)

  • Let me ask you a question... do you hate the sin and not the sinner or are you truly happy and grateful that gays find one another to love each other? Seeing how it is so hard to find that true person to really make you happy, and make it last.

  • @scienceatheism being gay isnt a sin.. being hateful is a sin.. so yeah hate the sin not the sinner i guess. just because im "christian" doesnt mean im perfect.. i have no room to judge, and anyone that would say "god" loves everyone is a moron to say he wouldnt be happy for homosexuals to find real love! true love is hard to come by.. more power to them.. love is beautiful.. there is no sin there

  • This is by far the most sensible argument I have heard on this debate. I say you should go into politics, but I would not wish that on my worst enemy.

    A well conceived argument.

    Thanks

  • EMPTY SHELL. LIKE A BEUTIFULLY WRAPPED CHRISTMAS PRESENT, ONLY TO FIND AFTER OPENING THAT IT WAS JUST A PLAIN OLD EMPTY CARDBOARD BOX. TRAGIC.

  • IT SIMPLY CANNOT GET ANY MORE INFANTILE THAN TO SAY "IF I'M NOT AWARE OF IT, IT DOESN'T EXIST!"

  • you are amazing and very admirable <3

  • somebody lynch this whore.

  • gogreen18 - Your daddy said he was sorry for abusing as a child. He told me your life long temper tantrum can finally end. End these videos, then end your life.

  • @gardner90125 fuck you

  • @gardner90125 Oh damn you told someone to end their life and said someones dad was an abuser. Do you feel better now? You're still a fucking loser so Im wondering if you are feeling any better?

  • Laci: will you marry me?

  • Laci............the more obvious solution is to ban straight marriage. Equality to be had by all. This is the twenty-first century. Religion, racism, marriage...do we really need any of that crap any more? While we're at it, let's go ahead and get rid of this "reproduction entitlement" people seem to have.

  • I proposed something like this before but it didn't fly because gays (at least the ones I talked to on zj's channel) aren't happy with not having the word "marriage".

  • I like ur thoughts on this topic and I feel it was well thought out. anyperson should have the right to marry another person.

  • Lacey, will you marry me?

  • nice to know im not the only one who thought about this. i came upon this line of thought when i looked in on the history of marriage. it was a religious ceremony. thats it! when did it change? no idea. why did it? no idea. my conclusion... why is the government telling me what 2 consenting adults can and can not agree to do? its no ones business but theirs.

  • Question, Do people have a right to "marry" or have a "civil union" with more than one person? Some people want to have two wives, or husbands, or partners. What ever you want to call them. So then the question is, Where does this debate stop? Do people have the right to marry an animal? Things to think about.

  • @FedEXfright I think if it is consensual people can marry multiple partners. I think animals is a no because most animals can't grasp marriage if you know what I mean.

  • @FedEXfright Humans are animals, not vegetables or minerals! So, yes, people DO have the right to marry an animal of the opposite gender in the USA. What I want to know is why do anti-gay people always bring this point up? Are you hoping the debate does go far enough to allow you to marry a farm animal, or pet? Sorry, that is something I really don't want to think about! Stick to your own species you gay hating perverts. Jeez!

  • @FedEXfright If someone wants to practice polygamy, it's there prerogative. Who are you to say it's wrong, if it's between consenting adults? The problem with bestiality is that it is RAPE. No animal WANTS a human to have sex with it, or we could never know that because they can't talk. If they could talk and were mentally capable of consenting to human sex (like gay people, OMG!), Then, yeah, bestiality would be fine as long as it isn't RAPE. Who cares what other people do?

  • @paraplegicgiraffe Dolphins will have sex consensually with humans. FYI

  • @zacthebold That's pretty interesting. How do you know it's consensual, though, if they can't talk?

  • @paraplegicgiraffe Well for one thing there is no friggin way you could hold down and rape a dolphin. They are strong! Dolphins have sex with one another very promiscuously as a bonding thing. If you play with one for a while and it likes you it will see you in the same light as another dolphin. Usually one has to visit the dolphin over and over to build the trust necessary. It is totally consensual. If you don't believe me just search for dolphin sex and read the articles.

  • @zacthebold Haha, well, neat!

  • @zacthebold

Dolphins have also been know to rape humans and other Dolphins.

  • @TheJoshman01 I am now scared of the ocean. Thanks.

  • @Lordgaraj

Don't worry it only happens about 4 or 5 people a year.

And its only been documented being done by wild Dolphins. Also strangely it usually only happens to woman.

  • @paraplegicgiraffe Dolphins are not the only animals to consent, either. I'm not personally involved, but I've been given insight into the underground world of bestiality, and many (if not all) animals are capable of consenting to sex. They can't talk, no, but they don't need to verbalize their agreement in order to consent. Animals can consent to Humans in the same ways they can consent to other animals.

They are not bound by the same taboos that we are.

  • @ gogreen18. Excellent point ma'am .Excellent proposal. Sorry for my nasty comment on the other vid. Uh...good day

  • Must resist... But.. CANT.. noooooo... TITS! (I am so sorry)

  • the way i see it if two people love each other they dont need to force one another to sign a contract to prove it and then get divorced and the guy loses half his shit and retirement pension. marriage is an invention of religion lacy and by supporting it your still supporting an ancient cult ritual.

  • why the fuck does anyone get fuckin married? marriage between any two people should be illegal. if marriage didnt exist would you invent it?

  • tits yeah

  • wow church and state NEED to be separate, and awesome tits btw

  • It's funny that she talks about atheism and all she makes me think is "oh my god"..

  • check out thoz awesome tits

  • Comments pending approval and rating disabled sucks, channels like BornAgainstMormons, "and I am mormon", mormon channel, and so on, have comment pending approval on most of their videos. It seems allot of mormon sites cancel ratings and censor comments, why? I see many other sites that people are allowed to comment and disagree. Mormons must be scarred of debate, and completely disrespect others opinions.

  • Mormon superiority complexes, and mormon's one way conversations are the reason I and others have a bad attitude toward their "faith".

Watch " Door To Door Atheist " if you want to see how nice mormons can be. It was filmed in mormon center Salt Lake City.

  • I completely misread the title. Laci, you troll :O

  • Yeah, the problem u have here is Law not "religion". Both Law, Religions, and Governments are founded upon Morals and Ethics. There are 3 problems with your concept. 1. More governmental control of the institution of Marriage and/or partnership. 2. Marriage then is no longer valid by Law. 3. Your Civil Unions then have become Marriages. Is Divorce even an Option in those Relationships, or can a person just leave on any basis in those Relationships? r they bound by Law to stay 2gether?

  • Ron Paul says the same thing, and he's a christian! He just believes in the constitution, and separation of church and state ...

  • @smalpierre Umm...the original meaning of Separation of Church and State was for NOT having a State Religion because of what the troubles the Founding Fathers had went through with the Church of England. Most people don't Understand that. This whole modern interpretation of Separation of Church and State is in fact an encroachment on Freedom of Religion.

  • I love you. Not in a creepy way..well sort of in an Uncle Touchy way, but I digress; I love the way you think. It's raw, but (This is 3 years ago)--It's Oct. 21 2011 Apocalypse day. Youve gotten smarter and prettier since. Now it's all about #OccupyTheWorld #NEWWORLDORDER religion is losing ground and the nutbutter lovin religious folk are riled upp something fierce. LOL!!

  • I'm not sure of the statistics but I've heard that gay marriages end in divorce at a rate comparable to hetero marriges ! Seems like we're all just lookin' for love and companionship ! PEACE JIM

  • ok, here's the deal: i must pose a question. this question is for every heterosexual male who reads this comment. this is a legitimate question that i would like answers to. can any of you HONESTLY tell me that you do not think about fucking this girl in the ass and then cumming in her mouth every time you watch one of her videos?

    let's hear it, gentlemen.

  • @culvre I have to agree with you. I can't deny it :)

  • i'm sorry you may have had several valid points but being the sexist creep that I am all I could think of was "TITS"!

  • there are boatloads of incorrect beliefs and assumptions in this video and -- of course -- bad conclusions.

  • @ImLDSRU2 what do u mean "of course"? did u watch a previous video where you believed there to be "incorrect beliefs"? or is it another reason /please do share/

  • @hangover844 I mean that conclusions cannot be better than the facts, beliefs and assumptions behind them. Thus, with incorrect beliefs and assumptions, the conclusions will -- of course -- be bad.

  • So you are Ron Paul supporter? And an Atheist and smart ... I think I'm in love :)

  • "for i am the apple" lolz i love it. ^^

  • Great idea!

  • separation of church and state was meant to keep the government from telling the people of the country how to worship, not to allow the government to do whatever they want and completely ignore a large portion of its people, even though they don't happen to hold the same views as the secular institution. the separation is meant to keep the government out of the church, not marginalize the religious citizens who give the government its power, as you are desiring to do.

  • @TTplayer86 Under her logic(witch is really, under the marriage is sacred logic) atheists and east asian religious people shouldn't be able to marry,as far as i know, that has never been a problem.this has absolutely nothing to do with church and state

  • According to your stupidity when marriages was as religion contract it give more social

life family life recognitions of each others but when marriages become love business

it give 99% divorce distructions of family social life and economically alos you idiot

about same sex it give you excellent disease about sex without marriage you come

to the same level like animals......hahahahahah

  • a pretty and smart girl

  • So, just going to throw this down:

Marriage is not just a christian concept. So christian concepts should not be the only ones applied to it.

  • This.... This is Genius!, Why have I never heard this proposed before?

  • @KillPyrite because it's a terrible idea. "Separate but equal" is not applicable to the marriage situation. And there's no reason to put marriage in a tiny religious box. There's no need for such a huge, unnecessary change. Giving civil unions the same rights as marriages would be much more rational.

  • @54tumelo56 I think ths video wasnt meant to be taken seriously.but it DOSE put things in serious perspective, and show what is implied when people argue about the religious box of marriage

because you know, only christian marry.and they never get divorced, just like the bible says!

  • @TravellerFellow <<<<Idiot

  • i wish you were right when you said marriage nowadays is done for love, but the sad truth is that it's just as much a business venture as it was 100 years ago, and with the divorce courts being as anti-male as they are nowadays women are the only ones making profit

  • wow you are very intelligent, and a women who thinkks critically like you do is very attractive to me. it is so rare to find women who think as critically as you. i agree 100% on your marriage and the legality of the civil union stance

  • I have been saying this for years... funny to see someone else saying this... it is hard to even get anyone to give this idea a fair shake.

  • You're obviously very proud of your cleavage, since you make a habit of making it very visible in your videos. One might infer that you are trying to get attention for your body...

  • @kmsoileau what, is she supposed to completely cover up her boobs and dress differently just because people like YOU say so? go watch her video called 'comments about my body'

  • @milkyway531 If a man makes his YouTube videos wearing a banana hammock, he won't be taken seriously as a thinker. Same for Miss Cleavage.

  • @kmsoileau she isn't wearing a banana hammock, she's wearing a shirt than any other girl girl with smaller breasts can wear without saying anything. And if you look at videos when she's wearing shirts that cover her cleavage, still half the comments are commments about her boobs

  • @milkyway531 I think you missed my point. A woman obviously intent on displaying her sexy cleavage comes across just as intellectually unserious as a man who wears a banana hammock on his YouTube videos.

  • @kmsoileau I think your missing his point(or hers) .The fact is,she is wearing a shirt,a casual, regular shirt.not a bra, witch is the equivalent of your banana hammock. She IS NOT flaunting her boobs.she just isnt hidding them from you like its a bad thing.one of this girls magior themes is that woman shouldnt be treated any differently then a man.and men can go on shirtless without a blink.shes not looking for people agreeing with her because of her big boobs.shes desensitizing people like you

  • @gC222SA She tilts the cam downward, cutting off the top of her head, giving the impression that her cleavage is part of the message. Draw your own conclusions.

  • @kmsoileau I did,i just told you what it was.so when dose she do this?

  • @milkyway531 "And if you look at videos when she's wearing shirts that cover her cleavage" So what? If a man wore a banana hammock in only half of his videos, he'd still come across looking like a dimwit.

  • @kmsoileau i dont see how what you WEAR defines your intelligence. Her wearing a low cut shirt isnt affecting my view of her inteligence, and i dont think if that guy was talking the same way, it wo0uldnt affect my view of his interligence even if he was wearing a banana hammock

  • @kmsoileau Your saying that if she wants to be taken seriously she should dress the way YOU see fit??? Or YOU deem "serious" it seems to me that, You don't have the beautiful body she was gifted with and the girls that show their bodies you deem ignorant, WELL as far as I can tell YOU are the dimwit, you label people by how they dress and if you were actually listening to the things she says rather than paying attention to how she dresses then you would see how credible and intelligible she is.

  • @xXMegii3Xx I'm saying that just as a man would be judged negatively if he wore a banana hammock, a woman is judged negatively if she thrusts her cleavage into the camera. Welcome to equality!

  • @kmsoileau Judged negatively by you. Why would a man wear a banana hammock? There are plenty of reasons of why she wears what she wears. She is a beautiful girl and knows it. Your argument doesn't make since. Well I take that back it does make since only, there is absolutely NO since in wearing a banana hammock other than for humor or trying to entertain. The fact that she wears low cut shirts should not make people think negatively of her. That is not equality! That is labeling.

  • @xXMegii3Xx The fact that it makes no sense for man wear a banana hammock on YouTube is exactly the same reason it makes no sense for a woman to flaunt her cleavage on YouTube. Thanks for making my point for me.

  • I agree and it will probably need to be taken to the SCOTUS in order for this to happen. Otherwise how can you deny two consenting adults to enter into a contract.

  • What about aethiests that want to get married?

  • Laci for President right fucking now!!!!!!!! Seriously girl, you could fix this whole fucked up institution/country/government,

  • that would be so great<3

  • I'm insanely religious, but I also really want gay people to be able to get married. I believe in the side of religion that says all people are born how they are and that all people are equal.

  • I like the idea of marriage in government, just not in the church. drop marriage from the church entirely.

  • The voice of reason. Well put.

  • This is what I've been saying the whole time. It's such a shame that the term marriage and all the connotations that come with it are so ingrained in the system that this would be an impossible change on the practical level.

  • I like the end with the picture of you and the line that reads "For I am the apple". It made me think of the davinci code. I dont know if you read it but the apple is a womb, chalace,or sacred thing. And the chalace is the feminine form. I just wanted to tell you that i appreciated the photo :)

  • speaking of marriage can i marry you, u got some fine ass tits

  • You're as beatiful as you are smart =)

  • Wrong. I'm atheist, but I see no rational logic to pretending a couple (or three or more?)homosexuals, or a guy and his dog, or a human and and an inanimate object, are similar to a marriage. Biologically polygamous marriages are more natural and normal than anything relating to homosexuals. It's a silly concept at best. I don't care what consenting adults do or what they call it. But don't demand that reasonable people be forced to play along with such a farce.

  • @wrjamescom marriage is regulated by government. Marriage is a religous institution. Government gives money and tax cuts to those who are married. People who are married have kids and use these benefits to better care for children, supporting a family and raising kids. If these benefits were given to familys with a certain grown up to kids ratio it would cover a broader sector of government. Marriage is the right of everyone, or anything, and the gov, has no business regulating it. Nor do you.

  • @dalhar20 "Marriage is a religous institution." Would you mind supporting this statement?

  • @dalhar20 And you have no right to force others to play along with a silly farce. You can do what you want and you can call it what you want. Others are free to laugh.

  • @wrjamescom *broader sector of the population.

  • Let me say first that i DO NOT hate gay or lesbian people. Marriage first started out somewhere in the bible and it started between a man and a women. So the word marriage was meant for men and women who join together. If the gay and lesbian community want to be together they need to find a different word and not try to call it marriage. This is like me deciding to put cheese and pepperoni on a salad and call it pizza. Saying that we have cheese and pepperoni so it has to be pizza. not true

  • @ComeUntoChrist "This is like me deciding to put cheese and pepperoni on a salad and call it pizza. Saying that we have cheese and pepperoni so it has to be pizza. not true" Excellent analogy, for gay marriage. but I disagree with your preceding point. "Marriage first started out somewhere in the bible.." Yes the first marriage is in the bible: Adam and Eve, but your statement is a bit misleading because marriage predates the Bible, Christianity, and Judaism.

  • @54tumelo56 Marrige predates the bible??? Adam and Eve were the first people on the earth. You agree that Adam and Eve were the first to be married but you say that it predates the bible. Im not trying to start an arguement but this makes no sense. I love all of gods children and if 2 women or men want to be together thats fine with me, but they cant change the definition of marraige.

  • @ComeUntoChrist What I meant was that marriage existed before the Bible was written. That's all I was saying.

  • @54tumelo56 LOL the bible in my opinion is BULLSHIT! no seriously it is!

  • @Symfani hmm. That's completely unrelated to this video and my comment, but thanks for sharing your opinion with me :/

  • @ComeUntoChrist actually adam and eve where not the first marriage adam and lilith where so yea but i dont belive in god, god is so dumb in my opinon and makes no sense

  • Holy shit!! I'd marry a guy no fucking problem if this chick would play hide the purple parsnip with me!! Go Green for President!!

  • @Stallex

    @stallex

...the realm of reproductive tech and it is likely that gay couples will be able to produce their own child in the near future.

    5. You are against civil unions, which is totally unconstitutional. The government cannot legally refuse to recognize a valid contract (i.e. civil union) without what is called 'just cause' because of the due process clause in conjunction with the equal protection clause.

  • @stallex

You obviously haven't thought this one through.

    1. There is no real connection between marriage and procreative abilities. Do you deny infertile couples their equality too? Marriage has zero correlation to either intention or ability to procreate.

    2. Gay marriage would not decrease the numbers of children born

    3. Last time I checked, the world could use fewer newborns, given that overpopulation is an ACTUAL threat to our species' continuation.

    4. Science is advancing in the realm of

  • @gogreen18

OHH FUCK I THINK SHE FUCKING GOT IT. Government and religion should leave each other out debates. U SO FUCKING RIGHT!. i only oppose gay marriage if it actual marriage and done religiously however if it done on done by government then it still same thing but different. at least someone understands both party and not just one sided.. I support you on this argument. you not wrong and it supports both party and win win for everyone. no one can cry because it doesn't violate anything.

  • Now I'm confused.

Lacie does not make me feel gay.

She's all blonde, and she has a high squeaky voice, and she's smarter than me. I'm confused.

What's worse than that - now my dick is hard.

  • @ChiefNauiLittleBitch Focusing more on physical appearance than brains??? Yeah shes def smarter than you.

  • Really? I LOVE how Professor Dershowitz generalizes that all those who believe in marriage somehow apply a religious sanctity to it. He's an idiot and an liberal. No gay marriage, no recognizing civil unions. Last I checked the continuation of the human species is dependent on a male and female union. When two guys or two women alone can birth another human being, let me know, and I might be inclined to change my mind. For me, it's not a religious issue, it's a scientific issue.

  • @Stallex So people that's sterile should not get married? Straight couples that are married should not be allowed to use protection? Is marriage directly related to childbirth? Is that why there are no unmarried mothers and fathers out there? Sorry, but your argument is deeply flawed. Please don't try to act like you believe in science.

  • @nomedsdog Elaborate please. What does sterility, contraception, and marriage have to do with procreation? and how does my argument put up a faux-belief in science? The fact remains two people of the same gender cannot produce a child.

  • @Stallex I don't see how it's hard to get how a sterile person cannot produce a child. Same as with people who have sex while under the protection of birth control pills, condoms, etc. I never said that marriage had anything to do with procreation, you made that relationship by saying that same sex couples should not be allowed to marry because they are not able to produce a child.

  • What I dn't understand is why all the government officials and judges dn't see that not allowing ANYONE to marry under discriminatory terms, is an infringement upon human rights.

  • yep. i agree i think. not so sure about the hubalanonsense that went over my head. but ive always said. if gay people want to get married then let them. if john doe finds gay marriage repulsive, then he doesn't have to marry a gay person. i don't see how in the world my gay uncle getting married would possibly harm my bible huggin best friend. how bout them apples. nice n simple.

  • Actually many countries have this sort of setup - A civil marriage seperate from a church marriage. I was originally married in a civil "registry" marriage overseas and later my spouse and I married in our church here in a church wedding. I'm not a supporter of gay marriage but I do agree that the government should get out of the marriage business - I am sort of a libertarian when it comes to that and a lot of other things. I am also a Christian BTW. Marriage really should be God and people

  • So if your next door neighbor comes to your house, he should be allowed to anything he wants right? He's not in the family, but hey give it too him anyways. I thought benefits were those that belonged to the family?

  • This is a damn good idea! I feel that the way religion has such a stranglehold over the idea of marriage is fucking retarded. They say that "Marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a women in concordance with God", and by God of course, they refer to the Christian God. What's wrong with this is that marriage is a key component in any society, regardless of religion. Muslims do it, Jews do it, hell even the ancient Egyptians did it! i'm pretty sure Jesus doesn't own the rights to marriage. ha

  • Laci, Your thinking is very very good.

Thank you for expressing that opinion.

If I went one step further, it would be to eliminate civil union along with benefits. If people want to contract, that's OK with me, I'll pay tax money so the state can adjudicate contracts.

But it's for the Children ... Well some of us don't want to raise other peoples children. But that doesn't stop those who do from donating their time and money, They can go hog wild.

  • a beautiful and yet smart american woman? my d*** is confused :s

  • @mavishill Seconded

  • Laci Green for world leader!

  • sounds like a great idea but im not sure if its practical though but i like the idea.

  • umm no. there are so many crimes associated with marriage.

  • hahaha she's so hot I bet if someone that's gay whatched this they wouldn't be gay anymore hahaa
