I am definitely not scared of science nor religion. As an Agnostic, I feel that science explains the majority of phenomena present throughout life; however, I also believe that there is a possibility of an even greater force to have brought everything together.

I am definitely not scared of science nor religion. As an Agnostic, I feel that science explains the majority of phenomena present throughout life; however, I also believe that there is a possibility of an even greater force to have brought everything together.

It isn't arrogance on my part. I'm sorry I'm unable to proclaim a possibility of something there is no proof for. My thoughts don't lead me to believe I am superior to anyone and I try not to presume anything... by definition I am not arrogant. Believing in a "possibility" doesn't make it factual or even the best stance. All it shows is your possible unwillingness to commit. Most agnostics I have known personally were admittedly so to avoid confrontation from theist not atheist.

1) "A" - without "Theism" - Belief in god. Atheism is therefore a state of lacking belief or conviction. Much like you lack belief in unicorns (or atleast I'd hope)
2)A single belief makes a religion? Do you 'believe' in gravity? Is that a religion? When a person says they're an atheist this tells you nothing about their philosophical world view, a Buddhist is also by definition atheist and yet their worldview is quite different from a LaVayan Satanists
