I have to give my AI driver a friggin completely tuned Veyron to even stand a chance..... horrible design PD.... It makes the game obscenely hard and pointless... I shouldn't have to tell my driver to pick up the pace and stop taking turns at 20 mph when the car can take them at 60.
I have wasted so much in game money on this segment of the game. Its almost like PD didn't test the game at all with real people to make it fun and just focused on graphics and their physics engine (both are amazing)

@Sursion7 My AI driver is at level 16... I have completed all the races (with all gold mind you) through professional series. Currently going after the expert races. Still doesn't matter what I do to "train" him he still sucks compared to me driving. The only good thing about the AI at this level is it doesn't run into walls any more and doesn't spin out.
@Sursion7 But it still doesn't know when/how to properly pass... plus if you set him loose on his own he will get so lazy in the lead that cars begin to pass him before he picks up the pace again. Play the fucking game and you will know what I am talking about

@Sursion7 if you are going to tell me that I am stupid, at least use proper spelling when you do it. "You're" I believe is the word you were looking for.
@CTSV4MEE It all depends on what level you are in. My driver is in lvl 21 or 22 and he is in raw pace just as fast if not slightly faster then the others in the same car in some of the easier events. Yes you have to spend a lot on tuning, but that is nothing compared to what you will be rewarded for being good. He have won me a Zonda R, which costs 6,5mil or something like that, and a lot of other super fast cars. You just need to get started, that is the hardest bit.
@dude2106 I understand what you are saying... My AI Driver is at level 22, He does win plenty of races. But what frustrates me is the fact that even on the most elementary points in racing he still fails to deliver. Take for example on the Like the Wind extreme race at Indianapolis. I can give my driver a fully tuned Zonda R with the maximum downforce, lowest suspension, and a wider gear ratio for a higher top speed.
@dude2106 but he will still take the turn at 140 miles an hour. I have to go make a new driver with level Zero experience and keep their pace maxed out for them to take the turn at 190 which is well within that cars capability. I understand the concept that PD was going for and I am all for it, I just think it is far from being a polished aspect of the game, and IMHO should have been left out

The only thing that really annoys me is when you watch it from rear view you can really see how rubbish he actually is compared to when you drive by your self. He just don't dare to overtake people on the inside. But i do think that it is a good addition to the game. I like how it can give you free money without you need to do anything at all.
When I heard about this mode, I thought it was cool and I still think the idea is cool, but when you actually play, it's kind of boring and gets repetitive. Plus there's not that much commands, just basic stuff such as over take, draft, slow down, etc.
seriously, do I always have to upgrade my cars so this dumb fuck AI driver can win? is this serious? Im now level 10 and this silly piece of shit wins nothing with a car thats as good as the opponents cars. to be honest, sometimes he even struggles with double the horsepower and 200 kilos less and Im really into racegames and tried out everything. Im only playing this mode to get the zonda R (u can unlock it in bspec -> professional -> gt championship lvl14) but it turns out to be a struggle

this spec is pure sheet. its boring as hell, why did they remove those long races like 100 laps, 2 hrs etc ?

pace down = drive slower (avoids mistakes)
