I think this is my favorite Toto song of all, although it didnt go as high on the charts as some of their others. Just an upbeat, happy, feel good song. No one else could match their unique sound. Love!
@jungalcy Joseph Williams. Lead singer throughout the mid to late 80's and the present. Preferences vary, but to me Joe brings in a raw Rock 'n' Roll style that compliments the band; making it the ultimate best lineup for me. For the rest of it I agree with the previous comment about the sound being trademark Toto throughout all the different lineups and years. Even though every lead singer also brings in a share on top of that sound. This lineup representing the sound of Toto and Joe Williams.
@boxerdogs11 David Paich on keyboards, Steve Lukather on guitar, Mike Porcaro on bass, the incredible Jeff Porcaro on drums, and of course, lead vocals by Joseph Williams.
@jrmrinaz Horn section: Tom Scott, Jim Horn, Jerry Hey, Chuck Findley, James Pankow, Gary Grant, and Gary Herbig. The little silhouette section in the middle of the video are the members of Toto "faking it", as it were.
@niamhorourke I am a major Jeff fan - we have a site on FB - The Jeff Porcaro Memorial Group, if anyone would like to join us and have some great conversations about the greatest drummer who ever lived. This song NEVER gets old. I am especially impressed by his cymbal work.
I love this song from Toto! What a totally awesome song of magical proportions! :-) Man alive, so many excellent memories with this song. I skated ALOT to this one at the rink back in the day! The best days of my life back then. Long summer days spent on the river with my walkman on and this song playing and just acting crazy and having fun with my friends. What a time that was back then. All of us who came from then know what I'm saying here. The 80's was magic! It just ended way too soon! :-(
