im sure we've all had situations when backing up where a mob decides to move to a very undesireable position, such as behind you, for example, I have an enemy on me, and am backing him up and he runs through me, to my backside, any suggestions on how to avoid this, or why this might happen?

this is happening when the mob passes you hitbox; overlapping his own with yours may cause wrong calculations by the server, positioning the mobs at the wrong spot (for example behind you)

this can be avoided by takeing one more step back when the mob reaches you

I just use wisdom so I don't lose any mana so I don't have to stop. Pallies generate enough threat so that they really, in my opinion and from my experience, need to generate any more.

@allian59 i find using seal of wisdom in heroics is useful as i lose a substantial amount of mana due to over gearing the instance and not gaining mana through being healed, however in a raid environment this is not necessary as enough healing is coming in so using a seal of corruption/ vengeance is more useful for threat

@allian59 You never have to use Seal of wisdom in a raid or a dungeon, you just need to use divine plea at the right time, for instance if you pull a large group of mobs you refresh divine plea so it lasts much longer.

He is likely spamming revenge everytime it is up on the one second cooldown offered by a talent in the arms tree because revenge lights up whenever you block, dodge or parry the very high block chance will ensure he is able to use it whenever the cooldown is up.

I would assume this build has generally higher DPS than a traditional tank build. The new mechanics with Shield Slam alow for higher DPS with higher block. And with the healers in his guild, he doesn't need some of the Protection tree avoidance. I'm positive he's simply pushing his DPS as high as possible.

instead of the strafe running, i got a Backwards zigzag Jumping method, witch allows me to face the boss while moving backwards in full run speed.

If you jump out of a void zone late and are mid air when the Void Zone ends, the server still counts your coordinates in the Void Zone until you land.
