I don't think that this version is THAT good. I think that the 1997 broadway version is the best singing-wise, but I plan to do this for a group (like 50 people or so, with dancing on a stage) performance so I wanted a version without the lead vocal doing any african chanting (not that it isn't good but that it wouldn't be right for this sort of performance) so I think that for this her version is the best.

As nice as the performance is, I really cant say I feel the power of the song through her performance. Mainly because the entire time she keeps her voice mostly at a gentler tone.
