I really like this cover - how they've done it in a totally different style - thats what rancids half of the record was lacking - but it still was awesome

I do like both because I was really young when they came up with that split but you cannot say that rancid have a more personal approach. corazond de oro and radio are the best examples to show you what I meant: thet turned a ska song in a melodic hc one and a punk one in a 2tone ska. rancid got their style and theyre good but nofx did a much better work.

@Resistandrevolt very true, few singers have more heart/soul than tim armstrong! fat mike is amazing in his own way though. i do listen to more nofx than rancid nowadays, but both are brilliant, easily 2 of the best punk rock bands of all-time, right up there with all the greats. nofx and rancid saved punk rock in the 1990s along with the dwarves and a few others.

I like both bands but I am more of a Nofx fan and always have been, so I spose its a bit of a biased opinion when I say I like this version better than Rancid's.

I still prefer the NOFX songs in this album than Rancid ones... NOFX made every Rancid song with their style (voices, rhytms, et) and rancid made NOFX's songs like NOFX allways play them... :S It would be great that Rancid had play those songs with their style...
