Will this product be thrown from the tire onto the body when traveling down the road? I just purchased a used 2009 Mazda 3 and after the trip home I had black all over the wheel wells and side panels and it appears whatever product the dealer used to make the tires look black was thrown onto the (white) body.

Nice result, though. Tires look great.

@meguiarsasia Thanks. I went ahead and purchased some yesterday. My bottle has clear gel (as opposed to purple?) and the tires look slick. It was pretty easy to apply, too! Took me all of about five minutes for all four tires.

i have found that the best way to apply this is with a paint brush, that way the thick gel can be pushed into the gaps between the fine lines on the tyre sidewall which is near enough impossible using a foam applicator.

This stuff is amazing. I use it all the time. Lasts a month or more if applied correctly and sit. Also you don't even need to apply that much to your applicator so you save a lot!

I have always used this stuff, well since it's been around anyway. I sure wouldn't finish the job like that! A bit sloppy there in the application and finish. Considering this is by the company itself, a far better standard should be done.

This stuff lasts a bloody long time as do some of the other tyre products by good detailer suppliers like Mothers or Autoglym. Really good stuff.

I use the hot shine spray on my tires too!!

I still get overspray on my rims though, so what I do is I spray onto an applicator then wipe it on. Same excellent results.

we have a few meguiars products at work, think ill pick a couple up and use them, my car needs a bath first but ive never had a problem with the meguiar products

how long will this last in normal driving circumstances? ive use black magic, turtle wax, and many many other brands on my tires and the seem to last 3-5 days max before i have to clean them and use more shine.

also wat do you suggest to keep steel rims in shinny condition for extended periods of time?
