@gotokill2 I see your comment is 6 months old, but I'll answer your question anyway! Cloud gives Sephiroth the black materia because Cloud has been injected with Jenova's cells. Sephiroth can somehow control people who have been injected with Jenova's cells (like those people in the black hoods that have numbers) and when Cloud gets his memory back (I guess?) he gains his free will.
and also sephiroth turned the tables and took controll of jenova and used the plan it had set up to instead be at the centre of the planet and absorb the energy to become a god like no other not because of jenova
yeah vincent and nanaki had jenova cells although vincent also did not have a number tattoe because he was shot in the head and was expected to die... nanaki was like number 13 and he also did take part in the jenova renunion lol and he didn't even know it

Cloud follows back to the reactor they fight and sephiroth rams his masamune in him. Cloud finds uber powers and throws Sephiroth in the mako under them washing him away and thus crystallised <3 Hope it helped

dont know why the magic system for ff games keeps changing im mean the other games they could just use magic and and learn it but the materia idea was cool.
thats true lol its getting a little carried away. like it wuz sum1's first draft of the magic system and they just put it on the game with out sum1 looking it over. haha i kinda got lost in my words
yeah definelty, i mean it would be so easier just to give them magic without all this complicated battle system for it, but then again it make sit more challenging.

I love when weapon gets shoot in the end of this clip. Talk about pawned. The mighty weapon loads his power, and boom the sister ray (the cannon) gets him. lol. I always laugh at that point
