I'm an aspiring minister, but found this to be quite hilarious, but that's neither here nor there. No, you misunderstood me again: When I said "no more regimes", I meant there are no other Nazi regimes in the world: He was the founder of Nazism and the only dictator in the world to rule a nation under it. You're thinking of fascism itself, which isn't quite the same. Nazism had...let's call them "some quirks". Suddenly your entire argument makes a little more sense! xD You were arguing for traditional fascism (not Hitler's) vs. traditional socialism. Still not the same, but closer.

I also never said Hitler didn't own Mussolini. Germany was much stronger and had control over Mussolini too, but Hitler shaped his regime around fascism, something Mussolini created. Therefore he had to have had to look up to Mussolini and fascism and have a positive outlook on it if he decided to then revamp it:p

@19KeithRichards43 I mean, Hitler put Mussolini back into power, he helped Mussolini and vice versa, they were allies, countless pictures show them as friends, etc. Hell, before mussolini there was no fascism, and since Hitler was after him and since he structured Germany around fascism...he must have looked up to Mussolini. Not to say that Mussolini might have looked up to Hitler too...I mean, Hitler definitely influenced Italy too...but Hitler had a mostly positive image of Mussolini.

The nazis actual defining difference is the arian race thing. The jews were used as scapegoats, but so was everyone else who wasn't a nazi. Other than that, there are few differences. Socialism tends to employ communism, but not always, and fascists could emply communism too if they really wanted to. The two are not connected...it just happens that the USSR was communist and turned to socialism for a govt type, or vice versa. I don't think it really matters which one happened first. But there is a defining difference between a govt system and economic system. Kinda like capatalism and democracy, different systems...yet socialism is Europe uses capatalism too...
